Hey, I made a zine on asexuality titled “Visible” for a class of mine, and I thought some people might be interested in the free 12 page pdf I’m offering! It’s intended to be a brief introduction to the topic, and includes some of my own perspectives and experiences. The visuals are all my own illustrations and photography, featuring some items I think the community will recognize and appreciate.

Feel free to message me if you’d like me to send you a copy :) @fuckyeahasexual @asexualartists

I was wondering if you could tell us more about more videogames which inspired your VNs! Since you were so fond of Chrono Trigger, I gave it a try and I just can't thank you enough for letting us know of such an amazing piece of art - I'm hoping you can surprise me once again with another title! Thank you beforehand, I'm dying to see Dragon Essence finally finished *-*

I’m a huge JRPG fan. If you leave me alone in a room, I can keep talking non-stop until morning  ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

To be exact, I’m a fan of JRPG in the 90s. My top 5 all time favorite games are Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Breath of Fire 3, Final Fantasy IX, and Lufia 2.

I have also played quite a lot of other titles in SNES and PS1, the golden era of JRPG. A vast majority of them have some kind of influence to the way I make games, be it writing or gameplay. For example, I love creating fishing mini-games, thanks to my love for fishing in Breath of Fire 3, (which indirectly resulted in the creation of Mirage Fish, lol). I’m also fond of cooking mini-games thanks to Suikoden 2.

The subtitle that appeared in X-note and Area-X Opening was inspired by Final Fantasy IX. I also intend to continue that trend in Silent-X.

The idea of having trains that go to Afterlife was inspired by the Ghost Train in Final Fantasy VI.

Dragon Essence itself was also inspired by Breath of Fire 3, which is about a Dragon Boy… (that’s about where the similarity ends, lol)

The last JRPG I played was The World Ends With You, which in turn inspired Cantus from Voices from the Sea. “Another Day” is also another pretty obvious inspiration from it.

The other thing that’s a bit more subtle is I tend to choose music that resembles the soundtrack I like in JRPG.

And… the list goes on. You will probably keep seeing all these influences in my future games as well.

the composition is so fab!! and i love the caps you picked, they work so well together especially with the coloring of the textures. Art Spotlights: Accidents Happen, by @justsing17

The green Santa hat on the title text is an awesome detail to include and I like the font and color combination you used for the title. It’s also neat how you separated the two parts of the piece with the diner countertop. Awww I love it! Reginas dress and Emmas Caro thing… I’m in love with that picture! Well done! I also love the cocoa in your art. Well done! Brilliant! Thank you for working and sharing! aww this is so cute! it looks like a poster for a warm & adorable romcom, spilled hot chocolate and autumn foliage and flannel and all the emma you chose for the cover really fits the emma in the story, also my fav vest/ outfit for Emma. nice touch to the Christmas pattern on the cup! the composition is so fab!! and i love the caps you picked, they work so well together especially with the coloring of the textures.
