It was during the third world war that mankind had sealed its fate. The number of nuclear weapons used had nearly destroyed the planet and all of the human race. The planet did the only thing it could do to survive… It fought back.
Humans were on the brink of extinction and you would think they would have learned their lesson, but still wars continued. Where once man fought with machines and powerful guns, they now only had access to crude handmade weapons. Instead of fighting for politics or land, they fought for resources to survive, but that was not where their troubles ended. It was only the beginning.
After radiation had poisoned most of the planet, a new race of beings suddenly appeared on the plant. Those that were fortunate enough to escape an encounter with them had called the shadow walkers, but no one could describe what they looked like. Anyone sent to investigate these creatures never returned again.
My brother Scot was one of those people. He was sent from our tribe with a group of warriors to go and find out more information about them. He never returned and there was no trace of him or the other three.
