Usher pays woman $1.1m after allegedly giving her herpes – 'My body has been ruined'

Usher is alleged to have paid out $1.1m (£846,000) to a former sexual partner who claims the R&B singer gave her herpes.

Court documents, filed by the unidentified woman, claim the Confessions singer was exposed to the virus in 2009 around the time his divorce to Tameka Foster was finalised. Usher, 38, is alleged to have had unprotected sex with the mystery woman before he disclosed that he was carrying the virus.

The American singer, full name Usher Raymond IV, reportedly told his love interest that he had tested negative for herpes despite having a “greenish discharge” from his penis.

The lawsuit says: “Believing Raymond’s statements that [the discharge] had been nothing and cleared up, [she] continued her relationship.”

In the state of California where Usher resides, it is illegal to knowingly pass on a sexually transmitted disease or infection.

Later in 2012, the woman claims she was diagnosed with the virus and experienced vaginal sores, fevers and chills. At that point, Usher reportedly enlisted his doctor to phone the woman to confirm he indeed carried the herpes virus and had done for several years. That year, the You Make Me Wanna hitmaker paid some of the woman’s medical bills totalling £2,754.40.

In the legal papers, the complainant says she “feels that her health and body have been ruined [and she] has suffered severe emotional distress and has been extremely depressed … knowing there is no cure”.

Although the lawsuit was first published by Radar Online on 19 July, it dates back to 2012 and was settled for $1.1m at the time. Usher is yet to respond to the reports but he has turned off the comments section on several of his recent photos on Instagram, preventing followers from discussing the allegations.

Usher, who tied the knot with music executive Grace Miguel in 2015, had been married to his first wife Foster for two years when they divorced in 2009. Foster, 46, had accused Usher of cheating during their relationship, which produced two sons, Naviyd Ely and Usher Raymond V.

Addressing the infidelity accusations, Usher told Oprah Winfrey in 2012: “Towards the end of our marriage, I found myself lost and I just wanted out. I was faithful at heart, but not faithful all the way. Even having conversations with another woman about matters of your relationship is not being faithful.”

Rest in Peace, Kile Glover

Kile Glover (pictured above on the right), the 11 year old son of Tameka Foster/Raymond and Ryan Glover and the stepson of Usher, has passed away. He was declared brain dead after a jet ski accident and had been on life support. He was taken off life support this past week. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Kile, especially his parents.

Usher, Tameka Foster Custody Battle: Usher Awarded Primary Custody Of Sons

The comments on this article are amazing.  Grown people are fighting like their lives depended on it…over some entertainment BS.  Boy, if some of them fought this hard over Voter Suppression in the upcoming election as you are over Usher and Tameka, the Republicans would be in serious trouble. Once again, misplaced priorities get in the way of taking on the real issues

Usher wanted to delay the custody trial because of Kyle’s death, but the judge denied it. Tameka said Usher only wanted to delay it for his own benefits, and she also added Usher “visited Kile in the hospital only once”.

We know what Usher did when he found out about Kile’s accident; he chartered a private jet for Tameka so that she could be by her son’s side. And for her to say that Usher is faking grief over Kile’s death is so rude! He took the bad string aside and helped Tameka, and this is what he gets in return. I feel bad for Usher, and I feel bad for Kile. Losing a son is painful, especially to a mother. And I’m sorry for her loss. But looking at how she’s using her child’s death against Usher is terribly wrong. It seems like she’s using Kile to get money from Usher.

She even said that she wants Usher to give her a permanent home for her and the kids. But before that, remember when she asked the judge to force Usher to pay her $15,000 to cover her expensive lawyer fees … plus an additional $35,000 for other costs. And now, just recently, Tameka is asking that child support be increased from $8,000 to $11,000 a month. This is just too much! I hope she will soon realize how awful she’s been. I just feel sorry for Kile. The kid’s gone, can they just let him rest in peace? Please don’t drag Kile’s name into this anymore. This is impossible but I hope this custody battle will end peacefully. I hope Usher will stay strong.

Tragic News for Usher’s Son

Usher’s eleven-year-old stepson has been declared brain dead by doctors after a jet ski accidentally hit him on Friday.

Kyle Glover, who is the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, was being pulled in a tube on Atlanta’s Lake Lanier when a man riding a jet ski struck him and a friend. Police reported the boy was struck in the head and was knocked unconscious. The teenage girl riding with him suffered a broken arm and a laceration to her head. After being pulled out of the water, Glover was immediately airlifted to Atalanta’s Egelston Hospital. Regardless of Usher’s bitter divorce with his ex-wife, Foster, Usher chartered a plane for Tameka so she could be by her son’s side in the hospital.

According to TMZ, Glover was admitted to the hospital on Friday and has not shown any brain activity since. A decision regarding his life support has not been confirmed.

A representative for the Department of Natural Resources reported their response team will recreate the accident on the lake to figure out what happened. Park rangers have been investigating the situation and have remained in contact with the driver of the jet ski. The department has ruled out alcohol as a cause of the incident.

My prayers and love go out to Tameka, Kyle’s father, Usher, and Kyle’s siblings. He was only 11 :’( No mother should ever have to burry their child, and the even decision for her having to take him off of life support was hard enough.

Also, to everyone else, be careful on JetSki’s… Its hard to think this could ever happen.
