Did you know? If Sonic 3/& Knuckles’ debug mode is activated so that one can hit Dr Eggman 256 times before the Twin Hammer mini boss in Launch Base Zone, he pops like a Badnik, a Flicky is freed and the player is awarded 100 points.
I wanted to create a series of minimalist posters representing all of the main-series Sonic games leading up to Sonic Generations. I wanted each to focus on an important and/or iconic artifact from each game, celebrating Sonic’s rich history as a franchise despite all of the ups and downs.
Also, fun fact: I actually started this over two years ago and only just now got around to finishing it. Although, with Sonic’s 25th anniversary now coming up, hopefully it’ll be more relevant again!
“Grrr. I can’t find my eyes anywhere. I’ve grabbed something, I can feel something, but I know it’s not my eyes. I know you’re there Sonic, you better tell me where my eyes are, or else I’m gonna continue gritting my teeth like this. Grrr.”
“Grrr! I hear you bouncing away you little nineties archetype, tell me where my eyes are or else! Grrr!”
“I’ve still got the red emerald Sonic! It’s mine unless you tell me where they are! I can’t find them anywhere! WHY CAN’T I FIND THEM ANYWHERE? GRRR.”
“GRRR. I’M SO MAD I’VE SHOVED MY ARM THROUGH THIS GLASS WITHOUT CAUSING INJURY. WHERE ARE MY EYES SONIC. I NEED TO KNOW SO THAT I DON’T DROWN IN THIS LAVA BY ACCIDENT LIKE A GODDAMN MORON. GRRR.”
“WHY WON’T ANYONE TELL ME WHERE THEY ARE???? THIS ISN’T FAIR, I HATE MY LIFE, EVERYBODY BETRAYED ME, I’M FED UP WITH THIS WORLD. GRRRRRRR.”
