character moodboard: robb stark

“Gods be good, why would any man ever want to be king? When everyone was shouting King in the North, King in the North, I told myself … swore to myself … that I would be a good king, as honorable as Father, strong, just, loyal to my friends and brave when I faced my enemies … now I can’t even tell one from the other. How did it all get so confused? Lord Rickard’s fought at my side in half a dozen battles. His sons died for me in the Whispering Wood. Tion Frey and Willem Lannister were my enemies. Yet now I have to kill my dead friends’ father for their sakes.”

I heard you wanted gendrya prompts, so how about this got/hp prompt for them: "we’re in between classes, and we both hear a fourth year calling a first year a mudblood, and neither of us are having any of that prejudiced bullshit. unfortunately, my impulse was to hex them, and yours was to punch them in the face, and my jelly-legs curse hit you instead, i’m really sorry, and we both are probably getting detention now, but hey, plus side, you’re kind of cute" ;)

THANK YOU! This is just what I needed to satisfy my random Gendrya craving. AND another HP/GOT prompt <3. Are you my prompter soul mate?

Davos tapped his foot impatiently outside the Hospital Wing. Twenty minutes he had been waiting for Jaime fucking Lannister. For twenty minutes, Davos had to bid his time- no, waste his time –waiting instead of dealing with the mess on the other side of the oak doors. He was beginning to understand why Brienne was constantly fighting with him, although Davos certainly didn’t have the same underlying affections.

“Sorry, I’m late,” Jaime snapped as he stalked forward, his robe dramatically rippling behind him. His tone implied he was nothing of the sort but Davos was frankly just happy he was finally showing up. “Qyburn wasn’t specific in his message, who is in there?”

Davos would really like to hex the other Head of House right now, but that would just be stooping to the other three’s level. “Waters and Stark.”

I really hope there's a reasonable answer to this question. IF Jon is a legitimate Targaryen heir, and had any interest in making use of it, how would he go about proving it? And how will it affect the story? He's got MAYBE Bran as a wierwood witness, Howland Reed, and whatever happens to be in Lyanna's tomb. I agree with the theory that it would have to be Rheagar's harp, but what other evidence would people need to connect all the dots and be able to point to Jon? How does this affect

Sansa and Littlefinger in the Vale? How does this affect the Brotherhood Without Banners and Lady Stoneheart? Or at least what would be your best guess.

Jon won’t have any interest in proving his Targaryen heritage and will be horrified to find out about it. (Not that his mother is Lyanna, but that his father is not Ned; it will shock him to his core and upset his entire concept of himself beyond words.) Jon’s Targaryen-ness will be relevant to his relationship to the dragons and to Dany. I don’t believe in the harp theory and think it’s silly. Jon’s background won’t have any relationship to Sansa and Littlefinger in the current Vale plot; Littlefinger’s plans for Sansa most likely will already have run into trouble when Robb’s will comes into play; but by the time Jon learns he’s not Ned’s son, there will be an entirely different ballgame going on in the North (because, y’know, the ice zombies are coming), so I deign to speculate there until after TWOW’s out. It doesn’t affect the BWB and Lady Stoneheart because they’re not involved in Jon’s story in the slightest and are focused on vengeance in the Riverlands alone. (You’ve been reading the Great Northern Conspiracy, haven’t you. That’s silly too.) Reasonable enough?

If anyone likes the ship Robb x Myrcella, I’ve just posted one on Ao3. Yes, I am shamelessly posting this. I was just wondering, I didn’t know if anyone would like it.

The Weight of Us

Here’s the description:

Tywin Lannister is dead, ambushed by the Young Wolf and his men. With Jaime still hostage, Tyrion makes peace with the Young Wolf. Not only offering aid in stopping Stannis Baratheon and his large numbers in force, but allowing the North and Riverlands to be named independent as well as sending his lady sister back to him. However, Tyrion still wishes to keep some part of the North and Riverlands near, and has the Stark agree to a betrothal no one is quite happy about.
