Hi! I recently broke my foot, and I was wondering if you could write something about how Shawn helps with it. I'm currently in crutches and a air cast, so yeah! Love your writing btw!❤❤❤

here you go babe! i hope your recovery goes well! :) <3

Shawn’s hands were slow as he wrapped you in your black silk robe, unaware of your gentle, loving stare at him. He reached down to cradle you in his arms, readjusting you against the sheets of your shared bed until he felt you were in a comfortable enough position. His tongue peeked from his lips in concentration as he grabbed a small pillow and moved to place it under your cast then stood up straight again.

His eyes were wandering over your relaxed body, skin still soft from the bath he’d just given you. You could tell his mind was racing, trying to think of what else he could do for you.

“Shawn,” You whisper, rolling your eyes and reaching out to him. “I’m fine for now, stop panicking.”

Shawn chuckles, flustered as he goes to sit next to you on the bed, pulling you softly into his chest. He rests his chin on the top of your head, leaning down to press a gentle kiss to the spot.

“I know, I just..” He sighs heavily, shaking his head. “Jus’ wanna make sure you’re feeling good.”

You smile up at him and press a kiss to his chest before laying your head back down on him, shutting your eyes tiredly. It was quiet between the two of you for a while, merely listening to each other breath, wishing you could stay there forever. But that peace is broken when Shawn begins to stir with a small groan, eliciting one from you as well as he attempted to move away from you.

“Gimme one sec, honey.” Shawn mutters, reaching over to the bedside table and grabbing your prescription medications. He grabs one of the water bottles as well and opens it for you, only then moving back to allow you to sink back into him. “Before you fall asleep, you need to take these.”

You give him a loud sigh and he laughs quietly, watching you pout and take the water bottle. He’s opening the medication for you and pouring the proper amount of pills into your other palm. You quickly down the medicine and hand the bottle back, instantly resuming your previous position for the 3rd time now. Shawn snickers at this and pulls you closer, a little frustrated since he was still in his casual clothing, but he knows that if he moves you again, he’d never hear the end of it.

So, he takes a deep breath and gives your body a tight squeeze before he follows your lead and falls into a deep sleep with you.

However, when you wake up alone the next morning, you’re back to your groggy, tired self.

You understood that Shawn had work and today was a studio day that he couldn’t miss as he needed to finish a song. That doesn’t stop you from feeling bitter.

Sitting up and gently swinging your legs to the side of the bed, you look to the bedside table where he’d usually leave the medication you need to take along with a positive post-it note and a various array of self-care products. This morning, there was none of that, confusing you immensely.

You grab your crutches that were supported against a wall, carefully maneuvering yourself to a standing position with them. It’s when you hear the clattering of pans down the hallway that you get even more confused, and frankly, a bit scared.

“..Shawn?” You call out timidly, beginning to take slow steps towards the cracked bedroom door.

Before you can attempt to open it Shawn is bursting through it, hands balancing a breakfast tray of pancakes, juice, and your other favorite foods. When he came in he was sporting a mile-wide smile, but now, his face was in shock at the sight of you standing.

“Babe, what are you doing?” He asks, quick to set the tray down on the ground and lead you back to the bed. “I swear, you’re the most hard-headed person I know.”

I am?!” You quirk, giving him a look of disbelief. “You’re supposed to be at the studio today, why are you here?”

“I told them I was sick.” Shawn shrugs, grabbing the tray from before and placing it on your legs while he takes a seat next to you again. “I needed to make sure you’re alright, I didn’t just wanna leave you alone.”

“And they bought that?” You giggle to yourself, looking at the beautiful man before you with those adoring eyes that made him melt.

Shawn smirked, picking up the fork and knife, starting to cut the pancakes for you. “Of course not.”

“I swear, if you get in trouble because you’re stubborn-”

“Worth it.”
