i want to know who your marauders/lily fan casts are! icb ppl are still fancasting aaron taylor johnson as james in the year 2023
Hahahaha oh my. Like I get that he had his "right place, right time" moment with 2010s fandom because of that one clip from Nowhere Boy, but...he is not James 😂
That being said, I don't actually have concrete fan casts for the marauders. It's way easier for me to give immediate "no's" to fan casts than it is for me to feel a "yes." And I think (and maybe this is true for a lot of people who have grown up with the series and been in/around fandom for many years) that's because I have very strong images of these characters and this world in my mind, which were largely shaped by the original HP illustrations and years of fan art.
But! Typical caveats aside, in all my mood boarding and fic banner making and amassing of aesthetic images (you should see my Pinterest 😅), I have come across some people/photos that come really close to how I picture them and give off overall character "vibes" to me, so I'll share those below:
FC: Simon Van Meervenne
Protector: unknown source
Quote: Melodie Ramone, 'After Forever Ends'
Connor just wanted to paint and take care of his twin, but instead was torn apart by a Denarian.
Since I was bored today I decided to do my own fan cast on M. L. Rio's If we were villains.
I spent a lot of time doing it because it was hard to find the people who exactly looked like the characters I imagined while reading, but I finally did it so enjoy.
Honestly I don't know why but I can just imagine Oliver like this.
He's cute and all, he definitely looks like someone who would risk it all for his lover.
I mean... Look at him...
He looks like a Disney Prince (as it is written in the book) but is also kinda mysterious though. The hero with a golden heart (but has his inner demons to fight).
Y'all.... I'm in love....
I loved Filippa and Tashi looks exactly as I imagined her. She looks so kind and definitely the type of person I would trust. I can't explain it, it's just like that.
Oh come on, you can't tell me this isn't Alex....
He's just perfect, the hair, the face... I can't imagine him in any other way. Give this guy a cigarette and a glass of scotch and boom, here you have Alexander Vass.
I just can't think of someone else as Wren...
I think she perfectly fits Wren's description with the blonde hair and her gentle features. She looks so ingenue and pure, as if she was born to be Wren.
Ah yes, the Femme Fatale. I personally think Abigail would be a great Meredith. She's extremely beautiful and has a perfect body, everyone would fall for her (aesthetically speaking).
He literally has that typical tyrant look... He's hot, yes, can't deny it, but he looks everything but a good guy. As M. L. Rio said you either love him or hate him.
