With a vote done yesterday at SSMU (Student society of McGill University), on the question of Israeli & Palestinian actions, the entire student body was torn apart. There is now a visible line and conflict between those who are pro-Israel and those who are pro-Palestine. 

Not to mention that the students who support Israel, and jewish students in general feel extremely excluded and somewhat at risk of intimidation because of the position that the SSMU wanted to adopt on condemning and boycotting Israel. 

(The motion was rejected but damages have been done)
