i constantly see posts from people complaining about the rpc nowadays and i just….yeah it changed over the years but…complaining about the fact that people call poisonous people out?? complaining about the fact that people don’t tolerate others playing “darker” themes like incest?? i don’t see anything wrong with that. if anything, i’m fucking glad all the nasties in the community get their asses called out in the hope of making others feel safer.

then, there’s always people complaining about how some players use contained themes and how we used to use the most simple ones?? if you want to use a simple theme, then go for it. no one’s forcing you to follow trends? no ones shoving the contained themes down your throat. no one’s saying you have to use a contained theme? i use the same, most simple theme for my character accounts and have roleplayed with people who used a contained one. did they tell me to change it and to use a contained one instead? no, they fucking didn’t.

there’s complaints about how everything needs to be tagged nowadays and i’m just….at a loss here…. like….. if one of your followers asks you to tag something that makes them uncomfortable then the least you can do is tag that shit!?!?? it’s not that hard? just put that fucking tag in there… make people feel safe on this hellsite!!!

yeah, this community is a pile of shit and there’s some new bullshit going down every day but if you don’t want to be a part of that then here’s a tip: unfollow the people. make your dashboard your comfortable place but help others feel the same way when they ask you to! surround yourself with people you like! turn down people you don’t like! the community as a whole will never go back to what it was six years ago—thank fuck! but you have the power to make this your safe place regardless.

Over my time in the Dragon Ball fandom I’ve noticed how Krillin has become somewhat of a meme within said fandom. Namely because of his deaths and frankly I feel that he doesn’t get enough credit and TBH when you think about it, his deaths were vastly important to the series.

Let’s get into his first death that dates back to the original Dragon Ball.

This death is honestly the darkest of Krillin’s death, in my honest opinion. The being is despite the fact he was sixteen right here, he had the physical appearance of a six year old child and to see him with blood dripping down his mouth with his neck broken is something that unnerves me even now as a twenty year old.

This death set in motion a revenge arc for Goku and changed him as a character with how vicious he was towards enemies like Tambourine and Drum.

Now, let’s move onto his more iconic death. After Frieza is thought to have been killed by the Spirit Bomb, he comes back, nearly kills Piccolo and pays Krillin back for slicing his tail by making him explode from the inside out.

The reason why this death is important is because it enabled Goku to become the first ever Super Saiyan (Not counting the Episode of Bardock special XD) and this helped Goku embrace how he was finally a Saiyan with his “I am!” speech.

Moving onto the Buu Saga, we see Krillin bravely try to hold off Super Buu in an attempt to let the others escape showing how brave he is as a character despite having a notorious reputation within the fandom as a “coward””.

Even though GT isn’t “canon” (this is a forbidden word in the fandom XD), we see how he was killed by Super 17 but what’s noteworthy about this death is how it helps Goku overpower and ultimately kill Super 17 in the end.

On a bonus note, even though this death doesn’t take place in our timeline, I think his death in the Original/Cell’s Timeline as well as the Future Trunks arc should be mentioned as well.

With his death in these timelines, it helped for Future Gohan to become a Super Saiyan

To conclude, Krillin is a very important character in the Dragon Ball series who should be given more credit. ^_^ Or at least his deaths should to some people XP

bucky was 24 when he joined the army

steve was also 24 when he enlisted in the army and still 24 when he became their supersoldier

bucky was 27 when he died, 7 days before his 28th birthday

steve was 26 when he died

steve is 26 when he wakes up in 2011 and 26 during the battle of new york

steve is 29 when he finds out bucky survived and 29 during shields collapse

steve is 30 when he takes on leading the avengers full-time and, a few months later, he is 30 years old and standing in a flying city talking to natasha how that would be a good place to die

i will never understand why people think bipolar/borderline are like, quirky and desirable. mood/personality disorders are embarrassing. one time i literally had to explain how i exhausted myself and slept for 16 straight hours because i felt WAY too much for ten minutes
