you go all out for movie nights with chan. you know they’re a chance for him to just relax, to both get out of the studio, and out of his own head a bit. they’re rare, with how busy he is, so you always go all out to make them extra special and extra comfy and peaceful for the both of you. lots of soft blankets are an absolute must - as well as popcorn and the rest of his favorite movie snacks and treats.
the movie of choice is almost always a throwback of some kind - toy story, or lion king. something you both grew up loving. sometimes it’ll be something nostalgic, like rocky or grease.
lots of cuddles during the movie are a MUST. they’re almost always watched with his arm swung around your shoulder and you tucked comfortably against his side, feeling safe and warm in his embrace. he definitely plays with your hair and you definitely trace shapes on his forearms while you watch.
they’re quite and comfortable and safe times for the both of you to unwind and forget the stress of the day and just be together, rooting for your favorite characters on screen, munching on popcorn, and just holding one another.

this menace. he’ll always try to convince you to watch a horror movie, mostly because he wants to spend the entire time making you jump and laughing at you. but as it turns out, he’s even worse about horror movies than you are and spends the entire first twenty minutes with his face buried in your shoulder. it’s cute at first, and absolutely hilarious. (karma is a bitch, lino). but you can’t help but feel bad after awhile, and insist on something lighter.
lino isn’t really a cuddler when it comes to movie nights. he prefers to hold onto a pillow on his own side of the couch, but always winds up pressed against your side about halfway through, his thigh practically resting against your own he’s so close.
when he does let you pick the movie, he always softly teases you for your choice (”c’mon, Y/N, you just want to see ryan gosling shirtless!) but you always catch him completely engrossed in the movie anyway. except for the few times where you catch him paying more attention to you than to the movie on screen.
he just likes to see your reactions. be it in trying to make you jump during the scary bits, or watching the way your eyes light up at certain scenes. no storyline in any movie can compare to the love story he wants to write with you.

loves horror movies, but unlike some people, doesn’t try to scare you throughout them, and can actually stomach them himself. but just because he loves horror movies doesn’t mean he’s not also down for some lighthearted movies as well.
whenever you watch an animated movie together, he always makes up his own voices for the characters just to make you laugh.
you spend most of the movie completely wrapped up in his arms as he holds you protectively close. no amount of pillows or blankets could compare to the comfort and warmth you feel being in his arms.
movie snacks are always a must, and he always comes over with bags of all your favorites, completely spoiling you in popcorn and gummies and ice cream.
it took him a little while to be fully comfortable to cry enough in front of you, but now during sad movies, you both are a complete emotional wreck, gently chuckling at each other for being such emotional messes, and softly wiping away tears.
now, he’s just as game for “titanic” or “the notebook” as he is for any horror movie.

musicals. this man loves his musicals. old musicals at that. give him all the julie andrews and audrey hepburn and he’s a happy guy.
you may or may not have twisted an ankle once reenacting the gazebo scene from “sound of music” - prancing across the couch with your hand in his until you’d slipped, making both of you collapse into a heap of giggles until he finally stop giggling long enough to go fetch you an icepack.
not only does he love his musicals, he also knows all the choreography as well, and what he doesn’t know, he makes up his own, always impressing you. he always grabs your hand and yanks you up off the couch to dance with him. gene kelly who?
when you aren’t dancing around the living room, you’re snuggled up together under the blanket forts he insists on building, a tangle of limbs as you share a carton of strawberry ice cream, huddled under the blanket in hopes of finishing it before felix can sneak in and run off with it.

movie nights with han are an absolute treat. he always get so, so excited and plans movie nights with you days in advance - texting about what movies you’re going to watch and what snacks he should bring. you totally picture him bouncing up and down excitedly as you make plans.
movie nights are a mess. there are no such things as neat and tidy pillow forts or being carefully snuggled under blankets. nope, han builds a whole nest right in the middle of the living room floor with all the blankets and pillows you have.
you always watch cuddled up together, as much as he loves his snuggly pillows, he much prefers holding you close in his arms.
and even though he tries to hide it, you know he only gets so excited as he does about movie nights because he loves spending those few hours with you, tangled in each others arms and sharing your favorite movies and discovering new ones with each other.

do not expect to get up at any point during the movie.
he wraps his entire body around you and holds you as close as possible throughout the entire thing and you love every single minute of it.
before movie night though, he always insists on baking your movie snacks. so homemade brownies and cookies are an absolute must. the only time either of you finally untangle from each other during the movie is to check on the oven and pull out your treats. the baking part is just as much a highlight as the actual movie is. he always gets a bunch of different ingredients and you always play around with different toppings and flavors for your brownies and cookies.
movie nights with felix are just sweet, by every definition.

movie nights with seungmin are just the absolute softest. there’s always blankets and pillows and cuddles. he loves that the two of you can share your favorite movies with each other and discover new ones.
during movie nights, he always insists that the lights be off, and there only be fairylights lighting the living room. everything is just very soft and quiet and peaceful. you spend the entire movie in each other’s arms or playing with each other’s hands or fingers. everything is just so very soft and so very sweet.
he always gives you his favorite hoodie to wear before movie night starts, so you can be completely cuddled up in him as much as possible. it isn’t unusual for him to grab your hand mid-way through the movie to press a soft kiss to your knuckles.

movie nights with jeongin are always adventures. you never know what movie you’re going to watch beforehand, or what food you’re going to end up ordering for delivery either. everything is picked spur of the moment, and you absolutely love it.
the movie itself is always spent quietly, and you don’t mind that either. jeongin loves to focus on the movie and the characters on screen. he can always pick up on the little details and guesses any twists before you every single time. plot lines and character motives are like puzzles for him to solve and you love seeing the focused way his brows knit together as he watches.
in spite of his focus for the movie, he still dotes on you throughout, holding your hand and brushing the pad of your thumb with his, giving your hand small squeezes or turning to meet your gaze and share a laugh during the funny parts.
afterwards, you tuck up on the couch, cross-legged and facing each other as you animatedly discuss the movie itself and the characters. these long talks are some of your favorites, and you love the way his face lights up and the way he can recall every little detail down to what color cary grant’s tie was in the fifth scene.

I was just sitting on my couch, eating and watching TV as I usually do, when I felt this pulling sensation. Like my soul was leaving my body. I thought I was going to die. That’s when I woke up and found myself in another room. I look down and see my body. My new body! I’m much skinnier now! All of that fat has just gone like magic! I can actually stand up without my walker.

My god I was done for. But then I kinda forgot about him a bit, knew he was in some movies that I wanted to watch (blade runner 2049, the nice guys, etc.) but never really got around to watching. Then I heard that this action movie was coming out with him and Chris Evans??? I was hooked. Honestly, I had obsessed over Chris Evans more in my teenage-years than I did Ryan, so I expected to do the same for this movie....but then I wound up falling in love with his acting again and damn does he look fucking good in this.

Hi friend! Ryan looks sooo good in this. there’s a brief shirtless scene and I was thirstin’ lol. I like all of the fight/action scenes in the film! It’s very explosive at some parts. The banter between Lloyd and Court is great and I wish there was more of it. Yes, Ryan and Chris do have a one on one bit towards the close of the film, that I hope you’ll be satisfied with, bc I thought it was pretty good. Cast chemistry is on the plus side between most characters/actors. Movie overall is like a 6/10 for me, which I told the Netflix executives.

A 6/10 isn't bad at all! Especially when the source material isn't much more than that either. So there's hopes for a low expectation, high octane popcorn movie, maybe best served with a glass or two of wine.
