“Smithereens”, dir. by Susan Seidelman (1982)

This low-budget indie film follows a 19-year-old narcissistic punkette in her futile quest for fame through the fading NYC punk rock scene of the late ‘80s, while Richard Hell co-stars as the burned-out one-hit-wonder '70s punk star.

The film features a great score by cult post punk band The Feelies, as well as Richard Hell And The Voidoids.
