“My early thirties were rough. I went through stuff that I would have gone through, and probably should have gone through much younger, but I had spent my twenties working. Even when I was the right age for older roles, people thought of me as being younger. It was tough because I’d had so much success in my early twenties.”
“In my twenties, I was a real worrier, always thinking about where my next job was coming from. I got to a point where I thought, if I carry on like this, I’m not going to enjoy it. So I had to learn to get better at living in the moment.”

It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. It matters what you think of yourself. And what your children think. So if anyone is going to ask my advice, I’d say, do what is right for you and don’t give a shit what anyone else thinks.
