Ethan "The Crust" Nestor's Pizza (biscuit? croissant?) Recipe

•one packet of yeast
•a few capfuls of olive oil
•some lukewarm water
•2 fistfuls of flour
•a sprinkle sprankle of granulated sugar
•a handful of salt
•another gigantic fistful of flour

TASTY TIPS:

Always make sure to stir that dough with your hands. Never use utensils: spoons are for the weak. You have perfectly good spoons attached to your shoulders. Also, direct eye contact with a friend is recommended to achieve that notoriously flaky consistency. If your dough begins to get a little dry, lube that sucker up with olive oil (your dough may turn an unsightly gray, but that’s fine) and work oil into the ball of dough. If all else fails, bury your disaster in flour in order to conceal your
sorry excuse for pizza.

Raindrop Cake (Makes 2 cakes)

Ingredients

2/3 cup/160ml spring water
1 pinch of vanilla sugar
~1/8 teaspoon agar powder (you may need to experiment a bit to attain desired texture)

Instructions

1. Measure out the water in a microwaveable measuring cup and add the sugar.  Microwave for 30 seconds and stir until sugar is dissolved.
2. While stirring, sprinkle on the agar powder.  Microwave again for 30 seconds and stir for a minute.  Continue microwave and stirring as needed until the agar is all dissolved, although you’ll probably still see clear bits floating around in the water.
3. Carefully pour into your desired molds; pop any bubbles that may appear.  Transfer the molds to the refrigerator and allow to set for several hours or overnight.
4. Carefully unmold the cakes and serve immediately with your desired toppings.

Tips

Use clear juice or food color for colored drop cakes.Agar powder can be replaced with gelatin powder.Flavor extracts will give the raindrop a hint of color (like vanilla extract).Add ediple flowers inside the mold for decorated raindrop cakes.

Wannabe greek salad:
This is a super simple salad, where the amount of each vegetable I add, depends on whats in my fridge and my preferences, so you can make your own twist on this if you like.

Base of salad:
- tomato
- cucumber
- olives
- red onion (I usually skip this one )

Dressing
- olive oil
- apple cider vinegar
- salt
- pepper
- dried oregano

Method:
Dice the vegetables and mix. If you add red onion, but think that the flavor might be a bit to strong, I suggest cutting it up into small slices and then soaking them in water while you make the rest of the salad.

Dressing : 2 parts olive oil, 1 part apple cider vinegar. Salt, pepper and oregano to taste. I like to make it a bit more salt than I usually would on food, just because the greens need a bit more.
For this serving I used 2 teaspoons of oil, 1 teaspoon of vinegar, and ca one teaspoon of oregano.

Mix dressing with the cut vegetables. Add feta cheese or goat cheese if you would like that. And enjoy 😊
