Planking

Planking is pain, I know. But I love it. It’s such a good test of strength, not only physical but mental too. It’s so easy just to drop and say “I can’t go on”. However, over the week, the plank has been my best friend as I have only seen my resistance grow. Before I could muster about 30secs, yet today for the first time I managed 90secs. That’s what I call progress.

Found this awesome flow for prepping for vasisthasana which you can totally do on your forearm or knees if the full variation is too demanding!
By the way, it can be awesome to generally think of poses that you can’t do as “too demanding” instead of thinking that you are not good enough to do them! Hard poses just require elements of which you are not ready to give - once you are ready you will totally give the pose what it requires of you! Until then, respecting yourself and your limits, respecting the resources that you have and how to delegate them!
Anyway, I think this pose is fun because in like really bad German it means “what is this asana” which the pun fan in me thinks is hilarious!! 😂🤦‍♂️
