Hundreds of pounds and weeks of working on the van later, the old girl finally passed her MOT! There were times where I was adamant I wanted to sell the van and start again but Lucy managed to talk me around every time and thankfully I listened. All the memories we’ve had in this van, I don’t think we could ever actually part with it, despite how tempting it may be sometimes. The final problem we needed to fix was the brake master cylinder. The one we had on the van was underpowered as it was taken from a lighter LDV without ABS. It took us a while to find a two pipe 26mm bore diameter master cylinder but eventually we worked out it needed to be from a minibus model. With that fitted, the brakes felt more responsive than ever. A new master cylinder, new bush leaf springs and new kingpins later we were back on the road!

The Palace never seamed to stop, guards patrolled the grounds in shifts. Servants bustled down the halls and courtiers flittered about the gardens marvelling at the grandeur of it all. And it seamed to King Abraham that his son was much the same. Pacing back and forth in his chambers he watched as Bucky re-told him the story of the mysterious maiden in the forest.
“You sound as if you’re the first man in the world to ever meet a pretty girl” The King teased his son, Abraham thanked the god’s that he and his son shared a close bond. He knew of other fathers and sons did not share the same close relationship that they did.
“She wasn’t just a pretty girl father, well I mean she was pretty. No beautiful yes she was beautiful but there was so much more to her” Abraham raised his eyebrow as the doctor started to take is pulse.
