The Glitz & Glamour of the Fabulous Philippine Fashion Ball.
It was a fun fun night attended by all the people you wanna see in the Philippine Fashion Industry. All the top designers, editors, models, hair & makeup artists, photographers and celebrities were there celebrating the 25th anniversary of PMAP (Professional Models Association of the Philippines).
Steph grabbed her jacket as she made her way out of the house, quickly shouting a goodbye to her mother. The walk to the park wasn’t particularly long, and the girl smiled as she made her way. She wasn’t sure what made her happier, the fact she was finally getting away from the world of homework and tutoring, or the fact she was getting to hang out with someone, especially a guy. EJ seemed a good guy, and Steph couldn’t wait to get to know him better. So as she got to the park, she looked around for him, but unable to find him, Steph sat on a bench and waited for him.
Most fashion models don’t stray far from the world of style and glamour when they shift careers. Many of them become stylists or designers, or enter the neighboring realm of entertainment. They definitely don’t often ravage pavement at a half a minute per kilometer on a racetrack. Except maybe for Phoemela Baranda, who has chosen some days to trade in her stilettos for driving mocs.
Phoemela Baranda rocks red overalls on the track.
But motoring has always been a passion for this certifiable F1 fan. By age 18, she had made enough bank from commercials to get a Toyota Corolla TRD (Toyota Racing Development, a line especially tuned for faster performance). At that time, the TRD was basically the limited edition Birkin of Corollas.
