I swear to God, I had this Tom’s expression during the whole last episode of Hart of Dixie, really I was just like him, in this moment I recognized myself and my permanent crying awwwwww expression on screen.

I’m gonna miss this show and all  - seriously from the first one to the last -  its wonderful and amazing characters so much!

My favorite thing about Sherlock is the character development. I don’t believe that Sherlock is a sociopath (he does care, and sometimes it upsets him that he cares), but he’s not an angel, either. Like most human beings (even if he’s more complex than most), he falls somewhere in the middle. I think he genuinely believes that sentiment is a flaw found in the losing side, at least until he meets John, and he begins to wonder if maybe Mycroft is wrong, and caring is an advantage.

I love this scene because it is so Sherlock. He’s worried about the little boy, and at the same time he’s excited about the challenge. He wants to best Moriarty intellectually, and he celebrates his victory, but then he looks at John, probably remembering the conversation they had earlier and how disappointed John was when he declared that he didn’t care. And that’s all it takes, one look, no words are necessary.
