It is this centuries-old Japanese austere and stripped down aesthetic that so influenced Europe and America design from the late 19th century and onwards. Many of us do not realize the profoundness of how greatly Japanese design influenced the rest of the world.
I had a tough time choosing between Goku-sotsu, Wilhelm, Ninjin, and Ninomaru. I couldn’t draw Ninjin to save my life so I put her to the side. After a while, I just chose by who had my favorite song, and it was Ninomaru.
