Week 19: Food Porn

Don’t judge me, I like hotdogs.
Okay, so clearly this picture leaves a lot to be desired.
I had actually given up and started to eat the dogs (hence the bite out of the one on the right) when I said “Damn it Mrs. P, make this work” and I tried it again.
I blame my lighting on my crap submission this week. If I had any inclination to cook I would have tried again but this is as gourmet as I get when I eat alone.
I’m also taking donations of one on one depth of field tutoring. 😁

Edits in PS Express - I turned the exposure up

😂 Love the writeup @mrspage! I’m drooling too…those look good! Looks like tough lighting…mostly backlit with natural light. Despite that…this came out great. Very contrasty and great depth! - RK

Week 17: Something Round

When I saw this week’s theme I knew I was heading to one of Canada’s abandoned Target stores to shoot these guys that are out front.
I did take pictures of a few other circular objects but these came out on top for me.

Ha! So cool @mrspage…perfect for this week. Nice shot! - RK

Week 20: Texture Photography

What did we learn this week boys and girls? Minimum focus distance is a bitch and we are jealous of @rkcustom1’s macro lens.

Okay, all joking aside, I kind of love this picture!!! I got the afternoon off today so I thought I would take my camera out in the yard. I tried a few different textures but the brick won. I hope this counts?!

Edits in PS Express. I just bought Lightroom and I’m overwhelmed.

LOL! Bricks are great for a texture image…great shot @mrspage! This definately counts! - RK
