Friends, we’re excited to share something new we’ve been working on: GNTLMN Lists.

We believe that reviving the lost art of dressing, behaving and thinking like gentlemen benefits ourselves and the world around us. GNTLMN Lists will assist in these efforts by sharing an ongoing series of lists, collecting the best places to go, expertly curated by thought leaders across fields.

From Emmy Award winning chef Soa Davies sharing her favorite places to shop for ingredients for a New York dinner party, to actors Todd Grinnell and India de Beaufort sharing their favorite date spots in LA, to entrepreneur and tastemaker Nalden sharing his favorite restaurants in Amsterdam.

GNTLMN lists are for both women and men, varied in theme and location, and will be released in sets of three, every three weeks. GNTLMN Lists can be found and followed through the newly launched, but also through our GNTLMN foursquare account.

We’re thrilled to present the following as our first three GNTLMN Lists, all set in our homebase of New York.

Follow our Tumblr and Twitter for more updates. Expect three GNTLMN Lists, every three weeks.

FvF Interview with Nalden, Amsterdam

Nalden is the co-founder and initiator of the originally Dutch file sharing service WeTransfer, which spread like wildfire over the web to quickly become an international success story.

We meet him at home in Amsterdam and find out how he is a man who lives in the present with an enterprising spirit directed towards the future and hear about Present Plus, his latest undertaking, where he puts his strong belief in innovative products for daily life into practice on Freunde von Freunden.

Thank you Jordi Huisman and Felicitas Olschewski.

Thanks to my trusty Nalden App for my iPad, I recently discovered my new dream vacation spot, The Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Luckly, the cheapest room rate is only $150.00 a night.

“Operated by Aldar Hotels and Hospitality, The Yas Hotel embodies everything that is exciting about modern and contemporary design. From the outside, the incredible LED colour changing gridshell will be seen for miles around and mimics the throw of a local fishing net, whilst the architecture embraces the environment perfectly based on the ergonomics and speedlines of high performance cars and yachts. This concept continues throughout the hotel and influences everything, from the furniture in the perfectly appointed 499 rooms and suites to the striking interiors of the 13 food and beverage outlets and Conference and Events facilities.”

The hotel features the fastest roller coater in the world, “Formula Rossa” with a speed that tops out at 150mph, via Farrari World. Who’s with me?

Great company introduction and wonderfully executed.

Artists, entrepreneurs, designers and rain-makers offer up an insight into the individual, their motivations and what really makes them tick. People who live within a moment in time that we define as the Present Plus.

Kuvva. Visual awesomeness for your Twitter profile.

I must say. Looking at the website for the first time, I recognized it as something blogger and Wetransfer founder Nalden would make. I wasn’t far of. This cool website offering you a new cool Twitter profile design weekly, is the work of @djbradfield and @nalden. This week the designs are from Parra, cofounder of cult apparel label Rockwell Clothing and a member of electronic music collective Le Le.
