Got to see a comedy show a few weekends ago.

Floral dress from a vintage store in Denton and then cut to be more flattering, chambray parka from a clothing swap, black tights because it was chilly for some reason, gold rings and necklace from H&M, pink ring from Forever 21, Mary Jane heels. I braided my hair to give a sweeter and more girly look.

Hey look I’m doing an outfit of the day and it isn’t even past Christmas yet! Today I had to look photo ready to take pictures of me modeling these new scarves I made that I’m selling! If you’re interested here’s the link but I’m not trying to promote myself with this OOTD, I really just wanted to upload something for you guys!

For the mini photoshoot I wanted to really contrast my outfit with the neutral colored scarf. So I decided on this simple blue dress that would contrast but also wouldn’t be too distracting from the huge scarf. I put a simple belt on for the same reason. And of course I’m wearing the scarf that I’m modeling but as another accessory I’m wearing some simple studded earrings. And since it wasn’t an outfit I was actually going out in I didn’t need shoes. Now I was pretty excited about makeup (even though you can’t really see it in this picture) because I used my new Naked palette but Urban Decay! Yes, I spoiled myself with it because I’ve wanted it for over a year and I made good grades this semester. And I did a wine lip with Revlon’s wine lip liner. My Ulta has been out of Wine Not for the longest time now. And I did my hair in a top knot bun to make the look a bit more modern.

Hope you enjoyed this OOTD! I’m almost out of retail hell so expect more soon!
