Check out my playlist on @8tracks: Ms. Chavez If You’re Nasty

A lot of the mixes I’ve been seeing on Tumblr for Chavez have been more rock/ pop punk/ indie focused and that’s probably just due to the tastes of the mix makers.

I always viewed America as having more diversity in her music listening. My Girl, America Chavez would totally listen to these JAMZ when she’s kicking ass and kicking portals into an alternate dimension.

Things like Secret Wars make me violently resent the fact there’s only one America Chavez in all of existence because we’re robbed of canon AU versions of her like the 1602 variations we’re getting of Kate, Teddy and Billy, or humorous encounters between her and said variations, like Teddy and Billy got in She-Hulk V2 #21 when they met their Earth-A counterparts

Kate Bishop and America Chavez are BFFs.

Nobody can convince me other wise. I mean, from the moment they met their styles and the way they reacted to situations where completely opposite.

They totally have one of those friendships when you don’t even understand how they could be friends. They are so incredibly different, they perfectly complement each other.

Still, they bond over the one thing they share: superheroing. They train together. They fight together. They’ve got each other’s back. They drive the guys crazy. They are the ones kicking ass when the boys are loosing their shit.

I mean, look at that smirk. There is no way you can convince me Ms. America calling Kate “Princess” isn’t a friendly nickname she uses to reference Kate’s more sensible and refined nature. She’s teasing her, like friends do.

This is one of the most underrated relationships in Young Avengers!
