Photographer Ramin Rahmani Nejad captured the beauty of colors and unique architectural features of the majestic Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, also known as the “Pink Mosque.” Located in Shiraz, Iran, the Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque is one of the few mosques in the world that is designed with stained glass windows. Adorned with painted geometric tiles on its arches and ceilings along with the high use of pink tile, the sacred building is an exquisite representation of Iranian architecture, history, and beauty.
After the explosion at the Mosque, the special forces asked the Prince of Kuwait (Sheikh Al-Sabah) “Long-life Prince, you shouldn’t attend the scene of the explosion, it isn’t safe”, he insisted and answered them crying emotionally “these are my children!”.
