“The White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders is a committee established by the Obama administration to keep him up to date on the issues happening in the AAPI community. For his holiday reception this year, the AAPI was asked to invite certain community leaders to attend, and we were included on this guest list. Being invited to the White House at all is a huge honor. How many people can say they got to go the President’s holiday party? But then we were informed the day before that we would have the chance to meet Obama himself. We couldn’t believe it…

***Our actual photo with the President and First Lady I think is being mailed to us. We were not allowed to bring cameras into the area, so we’ll share that when it comes!***

…Thank you for your support. You are directly part of the reason why we got to have this experience. Thank you.”

SHELL

Full Commentary and Behind the Scenes here: http://wongfuproductions.com/2011/08/new-shell-short-film-released/

Our lives are shaped by our experiences. Our experiences are preserved in our memories. But what if we had a chance to remember things that we never actually experienced? “Shell” explores this idea through a quiet conversation. If you could look through a window that softened the edge between reality and fiction, what would you want to see? What would you want to remember?

Shell - Wong Fu Productions

This is just, beautiful. I can’t even think of words to describe how this short film, another project from WongFu Productions, has been so moving. How they captured a lot of emotions in just 6 minutes. This deserves a lot of recognition. Hands down, Wong Fu. Especially to Wes. <3

The Last

Was going on YouTube to search for a music video and instead found this upon my arrival at the site.
