Little Miss Lake Panasoffkee, also referred to Little Miss P, is the name given to an unidentified murder victim. This young woman was discovered by two young hitchhikers on 19 February, 1971, in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. She was fully clothed, wearing a green shirt, green pants, and a green poncho, and extremely decomposed, partially due to the hot weather. She was determined to be 17-years-old to 24-years-old and was approximately 5′2″ to 5′5″ with dark hair and brown eyes. It is believed that she could have been married due to a gold ring on her ring finger. An autopsy uncovered that she had been murdered approximately 30 days prior to the date she was discovered. She had been strangled - a man size 36 belt was wrapped tightly around her neck. It was also discovered that she had given birth to at least two children. In 2012, her body was exhumed and reexamined. This examination revealed that she was of European descent. A geological scientist believed that she was from Greece and was visiting Florida to attend an Epiphany celebration in Tarpon Springs, a town that has a very large Greek-American population. Her identity still remains unsolved.
On October 15, 2005, fifty-two year old Pamela Vitale was found dead at her home in Contra Costa County, California. She was bludgeoned to death by her attacker and showed signs of having fought back. On October 20, 2005, exactly five days after the attack, Pamela Vitale’s neighbor, seventeen year old Scott Dyleski, was arrested based on suspicions he had committed the murder. Authorities believed Dyleski and a friend were trying to start growing marijuana and had stolen credit card information from a neighbor to afford the equipment they needed. Somehow Dyleski had mistaken Pamela Vitale for the neighbor he had stolen the credit card information from and went to her house, killing her in the end. A sign resembling an “H” had been carved to the victim’s back, the prosecution tried to link this to Dyleski’s apparent fondness for the gothic subculture and violent imagery but such claims were later dismissed. DNA of both the victim and Dyleski’s was found in a ski mask that was used during the assault, the authorities also found Vitale’s DNA in the defendant belongings. On September 26, 2006, Scott Dyleski was found guilty of Pamela Vitale’s murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
This year, Tamara Samsonova, a 68 year old granny from St Petersberg, Russia, is facing the rest of her life in a psychiatric hospital for the murder of her best friend. What makes this case more interesting is that Tamara may have killed over 10 people over two decades and ate parts of them.
In 2015, Tamara killed her best friend Valentina Ulanova. Sleeping pills were put in her food, she was then slaughtered and her head was boiled in a saucepan. CCTV caught the grandma take the saucepan out and dump the parts in the flat block garbage. Valentina’s other parts were dismembered, put in bags and thrown out around the apartment.
A diary found has entries of how she has killed other people and ate their skin, in a strange twist of events, in 2005 her mother in law and husband both disappeared and never ever found.
Adam Hilarie (27) met Hailey Rose Bustos (18) in the dating site PlentyofFish and they hit it off. On their first date, he took her bowling and introduced her to his roommate. On the second, he was murdered.
Unfortunately, Adam, who was a single father of a 5 year old girl, was the victim of a setup. On his second date with Hailey, on August 19th, 2016, she was supposed to meet him at his house. And she did, but showed up with three other men who attacked Adam. Even though he didn’t put any resistance, according to the police report, they still shot him in the head in his kitchen, killing him. Then they stole things from the house Hailey had noticed on her first visit. By the way, for her “assistance” in this crime, she was paid the staggering amount of $50.
The four suspects, that aside from Hailey include
Andre Warner (26), Gary Gray (31), and Joshua Ellington (26) are now under custody.
Today, I finally bit the bullet and contacted someone to find out whether the story of my boyfriend’s murder was true. I had no reason to believe it wasn’t, but fuck…I was hoping. Anyway, I contacted someone and just said “Hey, I heard something happened to this guy” and heard the same story. Now I have the disgusting details. And I’ll spare you everything except that it was a stabbing.
So any last remnant of hope of “this is all a mix up is gone.” I’ve died a little inside. But I’m hoping that maybe this confirmation will put me one step closer to closure and healing.
I want to go see his murderer. And I don’t want to say anything to him. Do anything to him. I just want to sit across the bars from his jail cell and look him in the eye. And I want him to fucking look at me. Look me in the eye.
Y'all be careful. Video of Alton Sterling being murdered by Baton Rouge Police has started to circulate. You are not obligated to watch it. You are not obligated to share it. It’s okay to unfollow folks who share it to keep it off your feed.
You can care, you can be hurt, you can be angry without putting yourself through that trauma. Take care of your heart. You’ll need it.
A sign during a peaceful protest on police brutality, following the death of Eric Garner. This is still painfully relevant two years later, as two more black men, Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, have been murdered within less than 24 hours of each other.
