Things I won't forgive the writers of  the Harry Potter movies for (part 2)(Book 1, movie 1)

Okay I guess some of these I can forgive. But they still really irk me

part 1

  • Where was the first meeting between Harry and Draco? I’m pretty sure they first met in Diagon Alley?
  • The fact that the sorting hat’s song and the school song were not in the movie. It would’ve been cool to see the Weasley twins singing at a funeral song pace.
  • Why the random order of sorting for the students? Like was alphabetical order too hard for you or something??
  • Harry definitely caught Neville’s remembrall like a foot from the ground not way in the air in front of McGonagall’s window.
  • The fact that Neville in the book actually stood up to Malfoy and his ‘bodyguards’ and got into a physical battle with them was pretty boss ass and should have been in the movies. Neville Longbottom was not a weakling, thank you very much.
  • Not showing Hermione and Harry trying to smuggle a dragon to Charlie Weasley’s friends in the middle of the night.
  • Also Ron was in the hospital throughout this whole exchange so how did he get the detention? That was where Neville came in again. (Man, do the writers just not like Neville?)
  • Peeves? Peeves who?
  • Mrs. Figg? Mrs. Figg who?
  • Professor Binns? Professor Binns who?
  • Not showing the best part about the ‘challenges’ the Golden Trio had to go through to save the philosopher’s stone. You know. Snape’s mind challenge with the potions? Hermione totally crushed that and it would have been nice to see that.
HP Preference #4- Dating Sirius.

When you first meet in your fifth year and he’s trying to impress you with his irresistible eyes and face:

His reaction to whenever you play a prank on him by saying you don’t want to date him anymore in front of the mauraders:

Your first kiss:

Him telling how he feels about you, despite of how cringe worthy he feels doing it:

His reaction to how beautiful you look when you meet his parents:

Him being afraid of losing you as his family are horrible to you when they discover you’re muggle-born:

His reaction to you when he overheard you telling Harry that he’s getting old but yet you find him as attractive as before, even in the pictures of him in Azkaban:

Him telling Mrs Weasley that he plans to marry you one day so he could snog the face of you everyday and you start giggling with joy and embarrassment:

That very last moment when his eyes pierced into yours which were full of love and sadness when he lost his life:

Ben Barnes as the teenage Sirius, Gary Oldman as the later Sirius.

Imagine Mrs. Weasley coming home after the Battle of Hogwarts and going into the kitchen so her family didn’t have to see her cry, because she was always so strong and they didn’t need to see her like that, not right now. Imagine her looking around the room for something to do, something that might be able to distract her for just a bit. Imagine her finding a clock hand on the floor, turning it over and realizing it was Fred’s. Imagine her clutching it to her chest, fresh tears leaking from her eyes as she thought of burying her son. Imagine Arthur at the door watching her and knowing that there was nothing he could do to help her and feeling his heart broken in two. Imagine George sitting alone in the room he shared with Fred and knowing that his second half would never be with him again, that they’d never laugh together again and that nothing would ever be the same.

Harry Potter thing you only can know from interviews... part 2
  • Teddy was raised by Andromeda (Tonk’s mother).
  • Teddy Lupin is a Metamorphmagus like his mother.
  • Teddy's girlfriend is Bill and Fleur’s eldest daughter.
  • Remus was killed by Dolohov and Tonks by Bellatrix.
  • Voldemort never loved anyone but power, and himself.
  • J. K. Rowling wanted to lose Mr. Weasley in the 5th book but she changed her mind. Because he is the only good father in the whole series and Harry had already lost so many father figures, (including his godfather Sirius Black and Hogwarts school headmaster Dumbledore).
  • Fred was always the ringleader. He’s always been the instigator. He’s slightly harder than George. Fred is normally the funnier but also the crueler of the two.
  • After Fred’s death, Ron joined George at Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes, which became an enormous money-spinner.
  • After school Ginni was a celebrated player for the Holyhead Harpies…
  • …and after then she retired to have her family and to become the Senior Quidditch correspondent at the Daily Prophet!
  • The new improved Percy ended up as a high-ranking official under Kingsley.
  • George names his first child and son Fred, and he goes on to have a very successful career, helped by good old Ron.
  • Mr. weasley fixed Sirius’ motorbike and it ended up in Harry’s possession.
  •  Dumbledore couldn’t see Harry under his invisibility cloak at certain moments but a wizard who could perform magic without needing to say the incantation aloud, was using ‘homenum revelio’ – the human-presence-revealing spell Hermione makes use of in Deathly Hallows.
  • Dumbledore saw in the Mirror of Erised his family alive, whole and happy – Ariana, Percival and Kendra all returned to him, and Aberforth reconciled to him.
  • Dumbledore understood Mermish, Gobbledegook and Parseltongue.
  • Dumbledore’s boggart was the corpse of his sister.
  • Snape had abandoned his headmaster post before dying sp he couldn’t have a portrait. But Harry could be instrumental in ensuring that Snape’s portrait could appear there in due course.
  • Snape is the only death eater who could produce a full Patronus because a Patronus is used against things that the Death Eaters generally generate, or fight alongside. They would not need Patronuses.
  • Snape entered Grimmauld Place immediately after Dumbledore’s death, before Moody put up the spells against him.
  • Lily might even have grown to love Snape romantically (she certainly loved him as a friend) if he had not loved Dark Magic so much, and been drawn to such loathsome people and acts.
  • After Remus, Lily, Sirius and James left Hogwarts Remus was unemployable and when Lily, James and co. were at school, the first war was raging. It never reached the heights that the second war reached, because the Ministry was never infiltrated to that extend but it was a very bad time, the same disappearances, the same deaths. So that’s what they did, they left school. James has gold, enough to support Sirius and Lily. So I suppose they lived foff a private income. But they were full-time fighters, that’s what they did, until Lily fell pregnant with Harry. So then they went into hiding
  • Hagrid has seen many deaths in quite a long life, so yes, he can see Thestrals.
  • Hagrid never got married or had children.
  • Peeves is not linked to the bloody Baron’s story. He is a spirit of chaos that entered the building long ago and has proved impossible to eradicate!
  • The Hufflepuff common room is accessed through a [painting] near the kitchens. It is a very cozy and welcoming place, as dissimilar as possible from Snape’s dungeon. Lots of yellow hangings, and fat armchairs, and little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops.
  • Slytherin has become diluted. It is no longer the pureblood bastion it once was. Nevertheless, its dark reputation lingers, hence Albus Potter’s fears.
  • The jinx on the D.A.D.A. teaching post at Hogwarts has been lifted (which was caused by Voldemort).
  • Quirrell was teaching at Hogwarts for more than a year, but NOT in the post of D.A.D.A. teacher. He was previously Muggle Studies professor.
  • After Hogwarts Harry and Ron utterly revolutionized the Auror Department at the Ministry of Magic. They are now the consummate… they are experts. It doesn’t matter how old they are or what else they’ve done.
  • Hermione began her post-Hogwarts career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures where she was instrumental in greatly improving life for house-elves and their ilk. She then moved (despite her jibe to Scrimgeour) to the Dept. of Magical Law Enforcement where she was a progressive voice who ensured the eradication of oppressive, pro-pureblood laws.
  • “So Harry and Ron lead the way in recreating the new Auror Department. And by the time… 19 years later … I would imagine that Harry is heading up that department, which is not corrupt in any way. It’s… it’s a really good place to be. And Hermione … I think she’s now pretty high up in the Department for Magical Law Enforcement. Where I would imagine that her brainpower and… and her knowledge of how the dark arts operate would really give her a, you know, a sound grounding. So they’re all at the ministry but it’s a very new ministry. They made a new world.” (J.K. Rowling)
  • The Ministry of Magic was de-corrupted, and with Kingsley at the helm the discrimination that was always latent there was eradicated. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny et al would of course play a significant part in the re-building of wizarding society through their future careers.
  • Kingsley became permanent Minister for Magic, and naturally he wanted Harry to head up his new Auror department. Harry did so (just because Voldemort was gone, it didn’t mean that there would not be other Dark witches and wizards in the coming years.
  • Azkaban is no more using Dementors. The use of Dementors was always a mark of the underlying corruption of the Ministry, as Dumbledore constantly maintained.
  • Hermione brought her parents home straight away.
  • Harry and Voldemort are distantly related through the Peverells. Of course, nearly all wizarding families are related if you trace them back through the centuries. As was made clear in 'Deathly hallows’, Peverell blood would run through many wizarding families.
  • Wearing the ring would not make the stone work. The stone existed outside the ring originally, and to use it you had to turn it three times in your hand.
  • The stone will never be found. It was squashed into the ground by a centaur’s hoof as the centaurs dashed to the aid of the Hogwarts fighters, and thereafter became buried.

part 3 is coming, source (x)

but a month later the kids come over for supper and announce they are pregnant

mrs weasley is completely calm while arthur starts weeping

and then she says guess that sweater will come in handy after all

everyone drops their forks because she knew

‘You see!’ said a strained voice. Tonks was glaring at Lupin. ‘She still wants to marry him, even though he’s been bitten! She doesn’t care!’
‘It’s different,’ said Lupin, barely moving his lips and looking suddenly tense. ‘Bill will not be a full werewolf. The cases are completely—’
‘But I don’t care either, I don’t care!’ said Tonks, seizing the front of Lupin’s robes and shaking them. ‘I’ve told you a million times….’
And the meaning of Tonk’s Patronus and her mouse-coloured hair, and the reason she had come running to find Dumbledore when she had heard a rumour someone had been attacked by Greyback, all suddenly became clear to Harry; it had not been Sirius that Tonks had fallen in love with after all.
‘And I’ve told you a million times,’ said Lupin, refusing to meet her eyes, staring at the floor, ‘that I am too old for you, too poor….too dangerous….’
‘I’ve said all along you’re taking a ridiculous line on this, Remus,’ said Mrs. Weasley over Fleur’s shoulder as she patter her on the back.
‘I am not being ridiculous,’ said Lupin steadily. ‘Tonks deserves somebody young and whole.’
‘But she wants you,’ said Mr. Weasley, with a small smile. ‘And after all, Remus, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so.’
He gestured sadly at his son, lying between them.
‘This is….not the moment to discuss it,’ said Lupin, avoiding everybody’s eyes as he looked around distractedly. ‘Dumbledore is dead….’
‘Dumbledore would have been happier than anybody to think that there was a little more love in the world,’ said Professor McGonagall curtly…
