How good would Sirius and Remus been at raising Harry so long as McGonagall and definitely Hagrid/Mrs. Weasley helped?
If they had had help? Ridiculously well off, I want to say. I assume this has aspects of Wolfstar in it, so I won’t refrain from assuming Hagrid LOVES to babysit and introduce Harry to whatever critter he’s got this time. McGonagall was enough a mother figure to Harry in book that it goes without saying she would serve a similar role. And Sirius and Remus can go out and have free time, no problem. Plus, it also helps when Padfoot and Moony are necessary.
Several months after the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry found Mrs. Weasley standing over her son’s grave, wrapped in a thin shawl and shivering- whether from cold or sorrow, he couldn’t tell. Harry had developed a habit of visiting the grave sites of those who fell in the final battle about twice a month, pausing at each one and remembering. When he stopped at Remus Lupin’s grave, he remembered casting a Patronus for the first time, and that his godson Teddy sometimes changed the color of his eyes to the same amber brown his father had. When he stopped by Colin Creevey’s grave, he remembered a young (too young) face and an ever present camera.
When he stopped by Fred Weasley’s grave, he remembered laughter… and then the world ending.
After a moment’s hesitation, he drew himself up to Mrs. Weasley’s shoulder. He heard her sniffle, and thought that maybe she glanced at him- but otherwise she did not acknowledge his presence. The silence between them stretched on as they stared down at the small headstone which was far to plain and quiet for the colorful man laid to rest beneath it. Mrs. Weasley sniffled again, and the silence after was unbearable. Harry was overcome by the urge to fill it- but what could he say? Before he could come up with anything, Mrs. Weasley finally spoke.
“I never imagined them apart. Even in my worst nightmares.” She turned to Harry slightly then. “I never imagined there would ever be just one of them. I don’t think George ever did either.”
Harry’s throat tightened and his eyes burned. He kept his eyes on the grave as he listened.
“I think that’s almost the worst to think about.” Mrs. Weasley continued. “That they were separated. They were always Gred and Forge, my silly boys. Never complete without the other. They were separated when Fred-” She choked here for a moment. “Well, when it happened. He must have been so frightened, my poor boy. Without his brother.” Mrs. Weasley turned back to the grave, a sob escaping her, and suddenly Harry knew what he had to say.
“He was laughing.” Mrs. Weasley’s shoulders stopped shaking. “When he- when he died. He was laughing. He wasn’t afraid.” Harry felt a shudder pass through him, was aware of rebellious tears escaping down his cheeks. “He was laughing.”
“Oh.” Mrs. Weasley breathed, turning and wrapping her arms around Harry. “Of course he was, Harry. Of course he was laughing.”
They held each other and cried. The world spun on.
imagine molly weasley staying up late a few days before christmas trying to finish knitting sweaters for all her children, her children’s spouses, and her children’s children and arthur tells her she won’t be able to finish in time
and molly slowly turns around and whispers “just you fucking watch me”
Harry Potter thing you only can know from interviews... part 2
Teddy was raised by Andromeda (Tonk’s mother).
Teddy Lupin is a Metamorphmagus like his mother.
Teddy's girlfriend is Bill and Fleur’s eldest daughter.
Remus was killed by Dolohov and Tonks by Bellatrix.
Voldemort never loved anyone but power, and himself.
J. K. Rowling wanted to lose Mr. Weasley in the 5th book but she changed her mind. Because he is the only good father in the whole series and Harry had already lost so many father figures, (including his godfather Sirius Black and Hogwarts school headmaster Dumbledore).
Fred was always the ringleader. He’s always been the instigator. He’s slightly harder than George. Fred is normally the funnier but also the crueler of the two.
After Fred’s death, Ron joined George at Weasleys’ Wizarding Wheezes, which became an enormous money-spinner.
After school Ginni was a celebrated player for the Holyhead Harpies…
…and after then she retired to have her family and to become the Senior Quidditch correspondent at the Daily Prophet!
The new improved Percy ended up as a high-ranking official under Kingsley.
George names his first child and son Fred, and he goes on to have a very successful career, helped by good old Ron.
Mr. weasley fixed Sirius’ motorbike and it ended up in Harry’s possession.
Dumbledore couldn’t see Harry under his invisibility cloak at certain moments but a wizard who could perform magic without needing to say the incantation aloud, was using ‘homenum revelio’ – the human-presence-revealing spell Hermione makes use of in Deathly Hallows.
Dumbledore saw in the Mirror of Erised his family alive, whole and happy – Ariana, Percival and Kendra all returned to him, and Aberforth reconciled to him.
Dumbledore understood Mermish, Gobbledegook and Parseltongue.
Dumbledore’s boggart was the corpse of his sister.
Snape had abandoned his headmaster post before dying sp he couldn’t have a portrait. But Harry could be instrumental in ensuring that Snape’s portrait could appear there in due course.
Snape is the only death eater who could produce a full Patronus because a Patronus is used against things that the Death Eaters generally generate, or fight alongside. They would not need Patronuses.
Snape entered Grimmauld Place immediately after Dumbledore’s death, before Moody put up the spells against him.
Lily might even have grown to love Snape romantically (she certainly loved him as a friend) if he had not loved Dark Magic so much, and been drawn to such loathsome people and acts.
After Remus, Lily, Sirius and James left Hogwarts Remus was unemployable and when Lily, James and co. were at school, the first war was raging. It never reached the heights that the second war reached, because the Ministry was never infiltrated to that extend but it was a very bad time, the same disappearances, the same deaths. So that’s what they did, they left school. James has gold, enough to support Sirius and Lily. So I suppose they lived foff a private income. But they were full-time fighters, that’s what they did, until Lily fell pregnant with Harry. So then they went into hiding
Hagrid has seen many deaths in quite a long life, so yes, he can see Thestrals.
Hagrid never got married or had children.
Peeves is not linked to the bloody Baron’s story. He is a spirit of chaos that entered the building long ago and has proved impossible to eradicate!
The Hufflepuff common room is accessed through a [painting] near the kitchens. It is a very cozy and welcoming place, as dissimilar as possible from Snape’s dungeon. Lots of yellow hangings, and fat armchairs, and little underground tunnels leading to the dormitories, all of which have perfectly round doors, like barrel tops.
Slytherin has become diluted. It is no longer the pureblood bastion it once was. Nevertheless, its dark reputation lingers, hence Albus Potter’s fears.
The jinx on the D.A.D.A. teaching post at Hogwarts has been lifted (which was caused by Voldemort).
Quirrell was teaching at Hogwarts for more than a year, but NOT in the post of D.A.D.A. teacher. He was previously Muggle Studies professor.
After Hogwarts Harry and Ron utterly revolutionized the Auror Department at the Ministry of Magic. They are now the consummate… they are experts. It doesn’t matter how old they are or what else they’ve done.
Hermione began her post-Hogwarts career at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures where she was instrumental in greatly improving life for house-elves and their ilk. She then moved (despite her jibe to Scrimgeour) to the Dept. of Magical Law Enforcement where she was a progressive voice who ensured the eradication of oppressive, pro-pureblood laws.
“So Harry and Ron lead the way in recreating the new Auror Department. And by the time… 19 years later … I would imagine that Harry is heading up that department, which is not corrupt in any way. It’s… it’s a really good place to be. And Hermione … I think she’s now pretty high up in the Department for Magical Law Enforcement. Where I would imagine that her brainpower and… and her knowledge of how the dark arts operate would really give her a, you know, a sound grounding. So they’re all at the ministry but it’s a very new ministry. They made a new world.” (J.K. Rowling)
The Ministry of Magic was de-corrupted, and with Kingsley at the helm the discrimination that was always latent there was eradicated. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny et al would of course play a significant part in the re-building of wizarding society through their future careers.
Kingsley became permanent Minister for Magic, and naturally he wanted Harry to head up his new Auror department. Harry did so (just because Voldemort was gone, it didn’t mean that there would not be other Dark witches and wizards in the coming years.
Azkaban is no more using Dementors. The use of Dementors was always a mark of the underlying corruption of the Ministry, as Dumbledore constantly maintained.
Hermione brought her parents home straight away.
Harry and Voldemort are distantly related through the Peverells. Of course, nearly all wizarding families are related if you trace them back through the centuries. As was made clear in 'Deathly hallows’, Peverell blood would run through many wizarding families.
Wearing the ring would not make the stone work. The stone existed outside the ring originally, and to use it you had to turn it three times in your hand.
The stone will never be found. It was squashed into the ground by a centaur’s hoof as the centaurs dashed to the aid of the Hogwarts fighters, and thereafter became buried.
Imagine you and Percy snuggling up in a blanket by the fire reading a book together, then you both falling asleep, only to have Arthur and Molly find you, smiling and giggling because they didn’t know you two were dating.
