Need proof that it gets cold way up in Norway? This school of frozen fish in a bay was captured by Ingolf Kristiansen who lives in Lovund, a little island in Nordland county. Kristiansen was walking with his minature schnauzer Anton when they both stumbled upon the sight. The fish were apparently chased closer to land by a predator, but were unable to escape before the temperature turned the body of water into ice. The photo has spread worldwide, appearing in Swedish, Finnish and other international media. Puts a little meaning to “frozen fishsticks”!
