Licorice-Root

Licorice from our garden. Groovy-lookin’ plant, and it smells amazing. Most will agree that licorice is the province of Venus, but some feel it should be attributed to Jupiter or Mercury. Licorice is used in works of fidelity, loyalty, passion, pleasure, youthfulness, reconciliation, and friendship. It is used extensively in love philters.

My first herbal tincture! Black cohosh, vitex, licorice root, and motherwort. • Sagittarius:You know, there are some marvelous flu remedies known in the certain remote parts of the subcontinent. Licorice root, for instance, combined with bamboo sap and a strong shot of whiskey. Ginger root, also, mixed with, uh, citrus peel.
  • Gemini:And a strong shot of whiskey?
  • Sagittarius:Yes, of course. In fact, you can throw out the ginger root and citrus peel, and still be well in your way.
