Making a Journal or Selfie page using the redirect function

Have you ever wanted to add a page to your blog just for your personal posts or pictures? The process is relatively simple, and once you have done it once, you will be able to quickly set up these pages for just about anything you want.

Here are some simple step by step instructions that will enable keyword redirects on your blog.

  1. Select the gear icon at the top of the page

  2. Select “Edit theme”

  3. Scroll down in “Theme Options” and select “Add a page

  4. Click the drop-down where it says ”Standard Layout

  5. Select ”Redirect“ so it looks like this (with your URL)

  6. Replace url with your desired url for the new page (I picked Journal)
  7. Add a /tagged/keyword to the end of the redirect line. Replace keyword with the tag you want to use to call out these posts. (I use the word Journal, so mine says Redirect to
  8. Move the "Show a link to this page” to on.  Once you do it will look something like this.

Now any posts I make, and tag with the word Journal will automatically be visible on this new tab on my blog.

All these steps make this sound complicated but it really is pretty simple. Try it and let me know if you need any help.
