Anyone who isn’t living under a k-pop rock know BLACCKPINK debuted right ? And I’m a fan from the moment I heard them. One thing that caught my, as person’s that likes fashion and styling, attention was the leather pants-thing Lisa was wearing. I spent days searching for it and I’m starting to loose my J-hope. But this blog has over 5.000 follower and surely a portion of you lovelies know your fashion and latest trends. These are the pants I’m talking ‘baut:
If anyone know where they are from or a way to find them please contact me through this blog or my personal one. Big thank you in advance for help and thank you for reading this through.
Artist: Marigold (매리골드) Song: Okay Album: Single “Okay”
After listening to one of Marigold’s previous singles, “8 Years (8년),” I’ve been anticipating more of their music. This song embraces the rock genre more, which highly fits the lyrics that sing about ending the agony and finally letting someone go. The submissive use of the word “Okay” in the title expresses both the acceptance of letting go and the apologetic tone of making life difficult for the other person during the relationship. It’s quite the emotional song - nothing less from Marigold.
Artist: Hyukoh (혁오) Song: Wiing Wiing (위잉위잉) Album: 20 EP
“Wiing Wiing (위잉위잉)” is the title song of Hyukoh’s debut album, 20, created by Oh Hyuk. The song has similar riffs and musical style to Thornapple (쏜애플) but is more calm and soothing. With Oh Hyuk’s smooth vocals along with the bass, drums, and electric guitar, it’s a song that you can relax to and find strangely addicting as you’ll want to keep it on replay.
I consider this to be one of the most precious tracks in my music library. From gloomy, tense moods, it blooms into breathless releases. It’s very restrained, however, held back with twitchy textures and fragile melodies – making the mood beautifully complex. Even the most climactic sections feel confined, like Kim Jong Wan wants to cry something out but cannot. This song digs beyond basic emotion by voicing the closed, pained, and private places in our minds.
Me, who can live pretending to know nothing Me, who can live on without any greed.
Me, who hopes for the happiness of the people, appreciating my situation, and who can deliver some warm words.
Maybe I will laugh, in the thoughtless days my vain hopes after a very long time I wont be shameful
Knowing my lacking and knowing my greed I am not arrogant about the things I have.
Me, who has no hatred with understanding and forgiveness Me, who can believe in the wonderful strength of love.
Maybe I will laugh, in the thoughtless days my vain hopes after a very long time I wont be shameful.
Me, who I lastly really want to be Me, who isn’t hurt because of you anymore.
Nell has finally released their 6th complete album, Newton’s Apple! It was nearly impossible to choose one song out of this amazing album, but Four Times Around the Sun (지구가 태양을 네 번) is truly representative of Nell’s unique style. When you get the chance, listen to this album in full because Nell definitely never disappoints.
