Iron fey memes because I refuse to let this die
Ms. Julie Kagawa,
I am begging. I am pleading. I am on my knees. Plz write another Blood of Eden. I want to see Master Allie get taken or something and see Vampire Zeke go in guns blazing vampire in shining armor to save her. I want to see Master Allie display her master abilities. I want them running an orphanage and savin babies idk. I just want one last book in this context 🤧
Thanks

JKags really loves writing sisters with a startling proclivity towards violence and their incredibly genderqueer, morally ambiguous brothers. And you know what? It’s a good dynamic. 10/10 no notes.

i need to reread "The Shadow of the Fox" trilogy by Julia Kagawa because DAMN OKAME AND DAISUKE just ahhhhhh
Tbh, just all of it, all of it. The folklore, the perspectives, Hakaimono (especially him and Yumeko at the end from what I remember), the fights, all of it.
It was an experience, and I loved it.
so like. shadow of the fox fandom r y'all still around
if not, then this is hakaimono (or at least how I saw him while reading) - he's an oni, a smartass, and also really fun to draw, and he's from that book series! check it out if you're into YA that's actually original and delves into Japanese mythology:D
anyway here's my art:
JOMP BPC - October 23rd - Trickster
Robin Goodfellow from The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa was such a good trickster 🧡
- The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh
Set in 1872 New Orleans, the main character Celine has run away from Paris with a dark secret, now hiding in convert, yet the bustle and charm of New Orleans could be hiding something much more sinister.
- The immortal rules by Julie Kagawa
A YA dystopian set in a walled city, and there is not only Vampires but Zombie Vampires as well. The main character Allison struggles to survive with her crew and only thing keeping her going is her hatred for the vampires that keep them like cattle.
- Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff
Is an adult book that is a dystopian written like a high fantasy novel, it starts of with a man Gabriel being interviewed by a vampire from there it bounces between past and present as the vampire tries to piece together the knowledge for it’s mistress.
- Certain dark things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
Set in Mexico, this book has many different kinds of vampires in it, the main characters are a jaded vampire on the run and a young man who collects garbage.
- The coldest girl in cold town by Holly Black
A YA novel, that starts with the main character waking up in a bathtub after a night of partying only find everyone killed but a beautiful boy and her Ex, which leads to a road trip with the two that starts a chain of events that can’t be undone.
“Ladies and Felines," he stated grandly, grasping the doorknob, "Welcome to Tir Na Nog. Land of endless winter and shitloads of snow.” ― Julie Kagawa, The Iron King

The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa - A Review
Title:
The Iron Knight
Blurb:
My fall began, as many stories do, with a girl...
Love is a weakness for mortals and fools. And Ash, heir to the Winter Court, is no mere mortal. But when he swore to be Meghan Chase's knight, his oath bound him to her irrevocably. Now the girl Ash loves is ruler of a realm where no Winter prince can ever survive. To be with her, he must have a soul and a mortal body, yet the tests he must face to earn these things are impossible.
There is one thing stronger than his will to live: his vow to Meghan. As Ash battles, he learns truths that'll change his darkest beliefs and show him that, sometimes, it take more than courage to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Favourite Quote (if any):
'Be careful, boy. In some tales, the hero gets eaten by the monster after all.'
Review:
We got a whole book in Ash's point of view. It was special to be able to delve deeper into his background and motives. To learn what feared him. I loved how the vow to kill Puck was resolved, even if it shocked me so much that I had to re-read that page twice. It was great that Wolf joined this journey and that Grimalkin was there, he's been in almost every book. I loved the last chapter, in Meghan's point of view, but most of all... I loved this book.
Stars:
Puck seems like the type to eat glue....
Because....
Literally just because
