I can’t quite get over these portraits of Rinko by Jesse Frohman
The lighting is beautifully simple (literally, it’s a one light set-up) and is kept consistent for all 4 shots, Rinko’s poses are great, the MUA has done such a great job that the retoucher has left only a subtle presence on the images. Oh, and the colour of that backdrop is gorgeous, too. White and black backdrops are used all too often and can produce way too much contrast, a softer, muted palette of backdrops does wonders
The simplicity of these images just works 100x more than anything heavily stylised I’ve seen lately.
Anyway, I had to post these again because I think the shots deserved to be seen bigger and with the right link to Frohman’s website.
