Check out some new concept art of the panda village depicted in the third installment of Kung Fu Panda.
Production designer Raymond Zibach told EW: “We try to experience this through Po’s eyes, so we want to make it really special for him. The fact that he comes back to other pandas and is going to learn their way of life was kind of magical to him because he thought none of this ever existed.”
“From a cinematic point of view, it was interesting because we used to cut from a panda to a duck to a tigress to a snake, and now we’re cutting from panda to panda,” said co-director Alessandro Carloni, while director Jennifer Yuh Nelson added: “It’s a really great opportunity because you get to see what makes Po, Po, what makes him different, what makes him the same, and we get to really explore this entire world of pandas”.
Here’s how I see it. I’ve got no house, no bodyguard, no movie and I’m being stalked. Because someone wants to kill me? No, because someone wants to kill you. So, now, starting now, I go where you go. So that if someone wants to kill me, I’ll be with you and since they really wanna kill you, they won’t kill me, they’ll kill you, make sense?
