Jeep-Love

Stiles Stilinski's Jeep

Stiles’s jeep belonged to his mom. He loves that jeep more than he should love a vehicle. He has a connection to it. He goes everywhere with it. He doesn’t care about other vehicles, better ones. He only loves this one. The Jeep has always been there for him. It always upsets him when his jeep doesn’t work. No matter how broken up it gets he always puts it back together. He would never leave it.
He loves his mothers jeep so much, maybe cause it’s not just a jeep to him, maybe to him it’s a piece of his mother, a memory, a physical representation of what he lost. It’s not just a jeep. It’s a relic.

How the Stydia scene should have happened

“Remember I love you”

She nods, she will remember. She will, of course she will. This is Stiles. The boy that saved her, the boy that cared, still cares. The boy that unconditionally loves her, even after all the trials and tribulations.
He leaned in, wanting to feel her lips on his for one more time. One last time. She leans in too, wanting to remember his scent, the smell of his hair, the product he uses to wash his flannels, wanting to memerise the colour of his eyes, even in the dark car.
Just as his lips graze hers, his warm breathe condensating on her mouth, a gush of wind knocks the door on his side open. Lydia gasps, eyes wide and full of terror as she sees the boy - the boy she loves, be taken by something invisible. The door slams shut. Silence, deadly silence follows. Not even his car makes an odd sound, like it ususally does.
Her cold fingers rub against her lips, tears dripping on them.
“Remember…”

LYDIA AND SCOTT REMEMBER STILES!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG THEY REMEMBER HIM OMG OMG THEY REMEMBER HIM I’M DEAD DON’T TOUCH ME I CAN’T DEAL RIGHT NOW OMG I’M SIX FEET UNDER RIGHT NOW IN MY FEELINGS!!!!

It wasn’t until they have kids that Stiles realizes how much Derek loves Halloween, but once he figures it out he made sure that their house was the spookiest on the block and that they have all the best pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.  Laura picks them out and then makes Stiles carry all of them to the Jeep.

Derek loves everything about the Halloween season.  When he was a kid they would decorate the whole house and go all out on costumes, but now that he has his own kids his favorite part is seeing how much they love it too.

Laura insists on being Yoda, and Derek is sure that Stiles put her up to it, but he can’t say no to her.  Not when she’s grinning from ear to ear because they found Yoda shoes.

And little Claudia is still too young to pick out her own costume, she’s only 9 months after all, but she does look adorable in her bear costume.

He even let’s Laura pick out his costume.  She hands him a Superman suit and tells him that he’s like Superman already because he’s so strong and he helps people without them knowing. He doesn’t tear up at all when she says that, shut up Stiles.

Stiles manages to get away with just wearing a Mario hat, but Derek’s determined to get him in a real costume next year.  Maybe they’ll do a family costume like Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.
