me: Daniel JamesDanHowell (born 11 June 1991)[1] is a British video blogger and radio personality. He is best known for his YouTube channel danisnotonfire, which has reached over six million subscribers. Together with frequent collaborator Phil Lester, Howell presented Sunday night entertainment show Dan and Phil on BBC Radio 1 from January 2013 until August 2014, and presented the station’s Internet Takeover slot from September 2014 until April 2016. Howell was born and raised in Wokingham, Berkshire, England.[2] He has a younger brother named Adrian.[citation needed][2]Before starting his YouTube channel, he worked in retail chains Focus DIY at the age of 16, and later at the supermarket Asda.[3] After attending The Forest School, Howell went to the University of Manchester in 2010 to study law, but dropped out in order to pursue video blogging as a profession.[2]Howell has lived with best friend and fellow YouTuber Phil Lester since August 2011,[4] and the pair moved to London together in July 2012.[5][6] Howell uploaded his first YouTube video titled “HELLO INTERNET” on 16 October 2009.[7] He was encouraged by “some friends” including Phil Lester to continually upload videos to the site.[2]He also has a second channel, danisnotinteresting, which has over 1.5 million subscribers and 39.5 million views, as of August 2016.In 2012, he won the YouTube competition “SuperNote” run by Rhett and Link.[8] He also featured in the weekly video series Becoming YouTube created by Benjamin Cook which looked at the different aspects to becoming an internet celebrity.[9] He also wrote a blog for The Huffington Post, in which he wrote about the creative process behind making his videos.[10]Howell and Lester collaborated on a YouTube channel for My Damn Channel, entitled The Super Amazing Project, in which they investigated paranormal events.[11] In October 2014, it was announced that as of that month, the duo would not carry on working on the project, in order to concentrate on their Radio 1 show.[12] It was later announced that the Super Amazing Project would continue production, but hosted by different presenters, scouted by the My Damn Channel network.[12] On 12 September 2014, Howell and Lester posted the first video on their new gaming YouTube channel, DanandPhilGAMES.[14] On 8 March 2015 the channel hit 1 million subscribers.[15] It was officially the fastest growing channel on YouTube.[16]On 1 April 2015, Howell and Lester launched a spin-off channel, DanAndPhilCRAFTS, as an April Fools joke. It features a single video of them creating square snowflakes out of paper, with an amateur editing style and humour throughout. It reached over 154,000 subscribers and 500,000 total video views in one week.[17] “Don’t cry, craft” became a popular Internet meme from that video, described by the Standard-Examiner as “one of the best known YouTube phrases of all time”.[18] The channel was awarded the YouTube Silver Play Button at Summer in the City 2015.[19][20] On 1 April 2016 Howell and Lester made a second video for that channel in which they did another joke tutorial, this time on making glitter faces.[21][13]

History of AmazingPhil and friends

This is a timeline of the career of AmazingPhil and his YouTube colleagues. I spent about 6 hours doing research and checking the validity, so it should be pretty accurate, including the dates. Most of the information on here is first hand (from the Youtuber them self). However, some information is second or third hand, so it may not be completely reliable, especially when it comes to relationships. Anyway, here it is:

???? - Phil starts a blog/service on MySpace where he offers advice on photo editing and talks about his life.

27th March 2006 - Phil wins a black and white disposable camera in a box of cornflakes, and makes his first video on his new Youtube channel AmazingPhil. He mentions his blog, and talks about the things he has been doing recently, such as going on holiday to California. After this he continues making small videos and skits with his university friends.

21st August 2006 - Chris Kendall joins YouTube under the name of Crabstickz

August 2007 - Stephen Byrne starts making comedy videos on YouTube under the name of 3sixty5days.

5th October 2007 - PJ Liguori joins YouTube under the name of KickThePJ

14th June 2008 - Charlie Casey joins youtube as CharlieSkies.

15th September 2008 - the series ‘ApartmentRED’ begins on Youtube and TV with a friend of Phil’s, Stephen, playing himself. Stephen appears in some of Phil’s videos and the two are rumoured to have been dating around that time, although it is quite unlikely that this is true.

16th January 2009 - Phil creates a collaborative Youtube channel with Charlie Casey (aka CharlieSkies) called Pabloislove. They form a close bond and although it was never confirmed by Phil, Charlie claims that they dated.

10th March 2009 - Pabloislove is discontinued and the only means by which Charlie and Phil openly communicate is via Twitter. It was supposedly due to an unexplained argument between the two, so it is probably safe to assume that they broke up at this point.

15th April 2009 - Musician, actor and artist PJ Liguori (aka KickThePJ) appears on the ApartmentRED. Phil meets PJ through Stephen and they become friends. PJ’s friend, Chris Kendall (aka CrabStickz) also befriends Phil.

June 2009 - Stephen Byrne and Charlie Casey start dating. Charlie posts about getting together with Stephen on Twitter. Sources close to both Stephen and Charlie say that the relationship was abusive, with Charlie often hurting Stephen. He ignored him, manipulated, and insulted him, leading to arguments, which lead to violence from Charlie.

June 2009 - Phil notices his devoted fan, Dan Howell. They discover they have a lot in common and become internet friends.

16th October 2009 - Dan creates a new Youtube channel named Danisnotonfire

24th October 2009 - Phil meets up with Dan in Manchester whilst his parents are away and Dan stays for the weekend with Phil.

25th October 2009 - Dan and Phil upload their first video together called 'Phil Is Not on Fire’ .

5th November 2009 - The producers of ApartmentRED take notice of Phil’s growing channel and with the help of Stephen, they let Phil join the cast of the show.

February 2010 - Stephen becomes the main presenter for the TV show TwoTube.

July 2010 - Stephen leaves ApartmentRED.

September 2010 - Stephen joins the presenting team for the TV show The Rumour Room.

7th May 2011 - ApartmentRED is discontinued.

September 2011 - Stephen starts presenting a show called Juice.

17th October 2011 - Dan and Phil create a channel with My Damn Channel called the SuperAmazingProject.

January 2013 - Dan and Phil get a show on Radio 1.

January 2013 - Stephen joins the presenting team of The Voice of Ireland.

16th February 2013 - Dan hits 1 million subscribers.

June 2013 - Charlie punches Stephen in the face, breaking his nose. They break up. Some sources say that this was triggered by Stephen cheating on Charlie, others disagree, saying that it was just part of the abuse that was commonly involved in the relationship.

June 2013 - Charlie starts sending abusive tweets to Dan, even though they have been good friends up to this point.

6th July 2013 - Phil hits 1 million subscribers.

24th October 2013 - Crabstickz leaves YouTube.

24th May 2014 - Crabstickz makes a comeback on YouTube.

21st August 2014 - CharlieSkies uploads a video to his channel, but hasn’t posted since then.

29th August 2014 - Phil hits 2 million subscribers.

11th September 2014 - the Dan and Phil show on Radio 1 is discontinued and replaced with the Internet Takeover.

12th September 2014 - Dan and Phil create a gaming channel: DanandPhilGAMES.

1st October 2014 - Dan and Phil officially leave the Super Amazing Project.

7th February 2015 - Dan hits 4 million subscribers.

This is the timeline up to now, 2015. If there are any mistakes that you spot, please let me know and I will alter them. Thanks.

The Bridgewater Triangle

The Bridgewater Triangle is an area of about 200 square miles (520 km2) within southeastern Massachusetts in the United States. Since colonial times the area has been a site of alleged paranormal phenomena, ranging from UFO and “black helicopter" sightings (including many with multiple points of corroboration including police and a local news team), to poltergeists and orbs, balls of fire and other spectral phenomena, various "Bigfoot" sightings, giant snakes and "Thunderbirds”, as well as the mutilation of cattle and other livestock.

Historic places and landmarks:

Hockomock Swamp

Central to the area is the mysterious and largely untouched Hockomock Swamp, which means “the place where spirits dwell”, and which was called “The Devil’s Swamp” by early settlers. The Triangle also contains several Indian burial grounds, as well as significant sites used by both natives and colonists during King Philip’s War, which is said by some to be the source of several curses on the nearby land. According to one tale, the Native Americans had cursed the swamp centuries ago because of the poor treatment they received from the Colonial settlers.

Dighton Rock

Also found within the boundaries of the Bridgewater Triangle is the Dighton Rock. The source of great controversy, the rock contains a number of inscriptions by possibly pre-Columbian visitors ranging from Vikings, to Portuguese to Phoenicians (characteristics of each of these languages can be found on the rock.)

Freetown-Fall River State Forest

Another area of unusual activity within the Bridgewater Triangle is the Freetown-Fall River State Forest. The forest land and that forming the town of Freetown was purchased from the Wampanoag Tribe in 1659, and many Native Americans have claimed that the odd and evil events which transpired over the preceding 350 years are the result of a tribal curse. For decades the Freetown State Forest has reportedly been the site of various cult activity including animal sacrifice, ritualistic murders committed by admitted Satanists, as well as a number of gangland murders and a high number of suicides.

 Paranormal activity in the Triangle

Common to most of these areas is a mix of reported phenomena that includes reports of UFOs, mysterious animals and hominids, ghosts and poltergeists, animal mutilations, as well as in more recent history reports of clandestine military activity including mysterious unmarked helicopters. What is perhaps most notable about the Bridgewater Triangle, however, is that this reported activity for the most predates that of other areas, dating back to colonial or pre-colonial records.

* 300-year History of UFO Sightings: The first UFO sighted over Bridgewater was in 1760, described as a “sphere of fire” that cast shadows in broad daylight. Another was sighted on Halloween night in 1908 by two undertakers. Dozens more UFOs have been seen in the vicinity from the 1960s through the present day. During the 1970s a number of UFO reports originated from the area of the Triangle, including an account by multiple witnesses at Joseph’s Restaurant in Rehobeth in 1973, reports form two Boston radio reporters (channel WHDH) on March 23, 1979 and more recently as reported in the Sunday Enterprise local resident George LaCasse saw a red-light flying erratically.
* Bigfoot sightings: There have been several reported sightings of a bigfoot-like creature in the triangle, usually near the Hockomock swamp. Joseph DeAndrade claimed to see a half man and half ape creature entering the woods near the swamp in 1978. Local resident John Baker also reported seeing a large hairy beast in a river in the swamp while canoeing. In an earlier report in 1970, the creature allegedly picked up the rear end of a police car with two officers inside
* Thunderbird sightings: For decades reports of giant birds or pterodactyl-like flying creature with wingspans 8-12 feet have been sighted in Hockomock Swamp and neighboring Taunton, including a report by NortonPolice Sargent Thomas Downy.
* Assorted Strange or Out-of-Place Creatures: reports unusual animals date back to pre-colonial times, with more modern reports from a variety of government and other officials have documented unusual animals including alligators, black panthers, giant turtles as well as a giant snake “as thick as a tree trunk” reported by Civilian Conservation Corps workers in 1939.
* Phantom Dogs: In 1976 an Abington resident reported seeing a large phantom dog with red eyes was seen killing two ponies. The witness, the ponies’ owner, said the beast ripped their throats and was almost as big as the ponies themselves. Responding to the incident, Abington Police officer Frank Curran engaged the suspected animal, fired his weapon with no affect.
* Mysterious lights: One of the most common phenomena observed in the area is “spooklights” or the will-o’-the-wisp, sometimes known as ghost lights, a phenomenon typically seen in boggy or swampy areas. Mysterious lights also appear along train tracks every January, and foxfire has often been observed within the swamp.
* Animal Mutilations: Various incidents of animal mutilation have been reported, particularly in Freetown and Fall River, where local police were called to investigate mutilated animals believed to be the work of a cult. Two specific incidents in 1998 were reported: one in which a single adult cow was found butchered in the woods; the other in which a group of calves were discovered in a clearing, grotesquely mutilated as if part of a ritual sacrifice.
* Murders: Among the recorded homicides are over a dozen confirmed murders in the forest over 1978 to 1988. Another gruesome discovery by Freetown police, following the report by the victim of a previous sexual assault at the site, was an underground bunker otherwise hidden from view. Upon investigation police found a number of strange objects, including small chairs with belts or restraints, seemingly made for children.
* Mysterious Tombs: When archaeologists excavated a burial ground located on Grassy Island in the Hockomock Swamp and opened the graves, the red ochre within the tombs mysteriously bubbled and dissolved.Photographs of the site would not develop. (source: A Prehistoric Skeleton from Grassy Island, Edmund Burke Delabarre, American Anthropologist, New Series, Vol. 30, No. 3 (Jul. - Sep., 1928), pp. 476-480)
* Satanic Rituals: The Freetown-Fall River State Forest (within the Triangle) has been the site of several gruesome murders linked to admitted Satanists or otherwise consistent with Satanic Rituals. Local graves have been disturbed with skulls stolen, in some cases later found in the Freetown Forest. Sites have been found with evidence of ritualistic animal sacrifice. Since the 1980s many instances of sacrificed cattle and goats have been invested or otherwise recorded by the Freetown police.
* Reports of Black Helicopters: Local resident Mary Lou Jones-Drown reported hearing “very loud helicopter noise” in Rehoboth on June 25, 2002. No helicopters were apparent in the air when the noises were heard. She was able to locate and interview witnesses who told her that mysterious helicopters “equipped with spotlights” were seen flying over the Palmer River School on the north side of Route 44. A local farmer reported “two black helicopters with spotlights were flying in formation above the trees. The choppers came from the southeast, from Mount Hope Bay in Swansea.” Another report concerning July 56, 2002, described “it was like gray camouflage or a striped helicopter type.” Similar reports were made August 7-9, and again on August 15, 2002. (source: Joseph Trainor, “UFO Roundup,” July 9, 2002)
* Indian Curses: According to one tale, the Native Americans had cursed the swamp centuries ago because of the poor treatment they received from the Colonial settlers.
* Ghosts: Visitors to Hockomock Swamp have experienced such haunting activity as the smell of smoke when there is no fire; a bonfire atop a rock that mysteriously vanished and ghostly voices in the Algonquin tongue.
* The Phantom Hitchhiker of Route 44: Many people have encountered the spectre of a long dead hitchhiker along the wooded area of Route 44 while driving from Seekonk to Rehoboth. The man is sometimes well kept, other times he is dirty with his clothes in disarray. A few details that remain constant in every encounter: his hair is always red, and he’s always dressed in a plaid shirt. One woman reported running over a man fitting that description late one night. The man seemingly appeared out of nowhere, and the woman, taken by surprise, had no time to prevent a collision. When she jammed on her brakes, and leapt out to investigate, she found no evidence of anyone being in the road at all. She did hear, however, a cackling laugh emanating from the woods alongside her. Frightened, the woman returned to her car and continued on. A few minutes later, the same thing happened again. The man appeared, and once more she hit him. Too frightened to leave her car, the woman rolled down her windows to inspect the road. As before, there was nothing or no one to be seen. The disturbing laugh returned, this time much closer, as if a few feet from the car. Sufficiently terrorized, the woman peeled out at full speed.

The area within the Triangle, centering on the Hockomock Swamp but also including developed areas of neighboring towns, offers the odd mix of paranormal phenomena associated with other areas of Native American historic significance. Similar reports have been made of areas such as Uintah County, Utah, the San Luis Valley, Yakama Indian Reservation, Elbert County, Colorado and Sedona, Arizona. Common to most these sites, the several areas within the boundaries of the Bridgewater Triangle were the locations of some of history’s bloodiest battles during King Philip’s War.

Lorraine Loot | on Tumblr (South Africa) - 365 Postcards for Ants

365 Postcards for Ants is the project leaded by Cape Town-based artist Lorraine Loot, for which she challenged herself to created a miniature painting every day for the entire year started on 1 January 2013. The project evolved and people started booking sentimental dates making suggestions for the painting to be done on that day. Every day, Loot posted the completed picture online, and unsold pieces could be reserved by commenting on the picture. In January 2014, all 365 pieces are exhibited in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa, after which they are distributed to the owners. © All images courtesy of the artist

USWNT Coach rant

Tom Sermanni became the head coach on January 1, 2013 after Pia Sundhage stepped down so she could coach Sweden. During Tom’s first year as US head coach, he had a record of 13 wins and 3 draws coming from Germany, Sweden, and New Zealand, some of the top teams in the world. In 2014, the team started off well by winning their first 3 games. In March at the Algarve Cup, they played Japan and drew 1-1. A few days later, the US lost to Sweden 1-0, Tom Sermanni’s first loss, 14 months after taking the job as head coach. Three days after Sermanni’s first loss, he got his second, a 5-3 defeat to Denmark. On April 6, 2014 after a 2-0 win over China, Sermanni was fired as head coach with an overall record of 18 wins, 4 draws, and 2 losses.

On May 16, 2014, Jill Ellis was appointed the new US head coach after serving as the interim coach while US Soccer looked for a replacement for Tom Sermanni. Since becoming head coach, Jill Ellis has lead the US to 9 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws. It took her just under 7 months to lose a game as head coach, which is half the time it took Sermanni to lose a game.

The thing I liked about Tom Sermanni is that he game the younger players a chance. He liked to test out new players to have a bigger selection in the player pool and gave so many players their first caps (Ashlyn Harris, Morgan Brian, Kristie Mewis, Sam Mewis, Julie Johnston, Christen Press, Erika Tymrak, Leigh Ann Robinson, Lindsay Horan, Crystal Dunn, Amber Brooks, Sarah Hagen). He changed things up every once in a while.

Jill Ellis decides to choose veterans over talent. Abby Wambach in center mid? The player that couldn’t run to save her life? She should not be playing full 90 minute games. And why is she putting Tobin Heath and Megan Rapinoe at forward? They’re outside mids!! You have plenty of talented forwards, USE THEM. The 12 players that Sermanni gave their first caps to, how many of them were called into this camp? Six. How many of them have played in the last 2 games? Four. Also, why is she using the same players in her lineups? Obviously the 4-3-3 isn’t working. The US plays best when they’re in a 4-4-2. Start Heather O'Reilly or Morgan Brian in midfield, let Kelley O'Hara, Amy Rodriguez or Julie Johnston off the bench for once, let Ashlyn Harris or Alyssa Naeher get a game in goal, just put different players in because the ones Jill’s using now aren’t working together.

1. December 31-January 1, 2012-2013: Little mistake between friends.

“Has anyone seen Alfie? I want to talk to him.” Zoe asked the group of youtubers around here. Currently they were in a small club counting down to the New Years. The club had been closed that night and DailyMix had decided to have a New Years celebration, so they opened it back up, for invited youtubers only.

“No, we haven’t in a good five minutes, I think he was looking for you.” Louise told her friend.

“Do you know which direction he went in?” Zoe asked over the music as it got louder.

Marcus pointed in the direction of the snack table, “He went in that general direction.” He said. Zoe sighed and started to walk over.

“The countdown is going to start soon, where the hell is he?" Zoe thought to herself. She stood on her tippy-toes and tried to catch a glimpse of the tall brunette.

"What are you doing, Zoe?” Aflie asked a laugh in his voice.

“I was looking for you!” Zoe shouted. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his around her waist. “I haven’t seen you all night, I was getting worried.” Zoe joked.

“Well, no need to be worried now.” Alfie laughed and bent down a little so he could hug her better.

“Ten, nine, eight!” The countdown had started. Zoe released her hug from Alfie and they awkwardly stepped away from each other.

“Let’s watch the countdown, yeah?” Alfie asked, Zoe nodded and she looked at the screen as the big numbers flashed.

“Five, four, three!” There were shouts again. Zoe looked over at Alfie, and couldn’t help herself. She stood in front of him, got on her tiptoes, and gave him a quick peck right as everyone else shouted one.

2. December 31-January 1, 2013-2014: A kiss between a couple.

After that night last New Years eve things were awkward, they were still best friends and they still hung out, but it was kind of hard to ignore the fact that they had kissed. A little before Playlist Live they had admitted their feelings and had gotten together. Ever since then, they had been happy.

“My new guinea pigs are so cute!” Zoe exclaimed to the others around her. They all listened and looked as she showed them pictures. This years they were spending New Years with Tanya, Jim, Felix, Marzia, and Joe.

“Aw they’re adorable.” Tanya said as she looked at a video of them running around on the floor.

“Aren’t they?” Zoe exclaimed. She smiled as she flipped to a picture of her dad holding one with outstretched hands.

“Dad doesn’t really like ‘em, does he, Zo?” Joe laughed.

“Not at all.” Zoe shook her head. Alfie smiled at his girlfriend and wrapped an arm around her waist.

“Am I going to get a proper New Years kiss this year?” Alfie whispered cheekily into his girlfriend’s ear. She hit him in the stomach.

“Oh shut up, will you?” Zoe grumbled. She slipped her phone back into her pocket when she noticed everyones eyes strained on the television. She wrapped her arms around Alfies neck and he wrapped his around her tiny waist.

“Ten, nine, eight, seven!” The people on the Tv exclaimed.

Zoe and Alfie smiled at each other, their heads moving closer.

“Four, three, two!” The numbers flashed. All the couples were ready for a kiss.

“One.” Alfie whispered before he bent down and kissed her. Zoe smiled into the kiss and pressed their lips together with more force. Alfie licked her bottom lip and she opened her mouth. They stood there for a good few minutes with everyone staring at them as they kissed.

“Are you guys done yet?” Felix asked bluntly. They separated and blushed.

“Shut up, Felix.” Alfie grumbled throwing the nearest thing at him. Felix then got a tube of lipgloss to the face.

3. December 31- January 1, 2014-2015: A kiss between the engaged.

Alfie had recently proposed. He had decided to do it Christmas Eve since that was her favourite day right behind Christmas. She was so surprised she knocked over her glass of eggnog and didn’t even flinch when it spilled on the carpet. She had looked down at the ring and then looked back up at Alfie, repeating this process over and over. Alfie was nervous and had told her it was okay if it was a no. She had laughed loudly at that and kissed him, muttering a yes in between.

Ever since then they were attached at the hip, they didn’t go five minutes without being near each other. So you could see the trouble Alfie was having when he couldn’t find his girlfri- fiance. He had looked all over their apartment flat, but she was nowhere to be seen. He sighed and sat down on the couch. He couldn’t not kiss her tonight, where on earth was she?

Right when Alfie began to get worried Zoe emerged from outside the apartment, coming in through the front door. In her hands was mail. Alfie stared at her and stared at her.

“You went to go get mail… at eleven-fifty-six at night?” Alfie questioned her. Zoe nodded sheepishly and set the key for the mailbox down.

“It was full and Mrs. Hodge had told me that the mail guy resorted to setting it on the floor under it. I was worried someone might steal something.

"Zoe.” Alfie smiled shaking his head. He laughed and threw her head back as Zoe pouted and grumbled.

“Whatever, I don’t need you. I’ll just go spend New Years with my guinea pigs.” Zoe huffed. She had had the same guinea pigs for about a year now and she was very persistent that they were treated well. Whenever she left to go to a youtube convention, she would force her dad to come over to there apartment and watch them. Daddy Sugg didn’t like it, not at all.

“Oh, Zoe. Come on.” Alfie said and grabbed her wrist. He pulled her down on top of his his lap and waited for the clock on the TV to start.

“What?” Zoe asked impatiently.

“Don’t do this, we both know you want that kiss.” Alfie smirked. It was true; the other night Zoe was sleep talking and he had heard her say, “Alfie, your kisses are better than chocolate. I want you to kiss me all the time”. It had warmed his heart when she said that and he’d recorded it.

“I was asleep, I didn’t know what I was saying, it’s a lie.” Zoe sniffed, and lifted her chin.

“We all know that you aren’t telling the truth.” Alfie whispered and kissed her neck.

“Alfie.” Zoe whined and tried to swat his head away but he just continued to kiss along her neck and jawline. “Alfie the countdowns started, come on, let me go.” Zoe motioned towards the Tv which was flashing a bright number eight. Alfie ignored her and kissed her sensitive spot which made her whole mind go numb.

“I love you, Little One.” Alfie said in between kisses and bites.

“I love you too.” Zoe got out breathlessly. Alfie smashed his lips together and they went into a heated kiss right as the Tv flashed a vibrantly blue number one.

4. December 31- January 1, 2023-2024: A kiss with kids.

The night of the engagement so many years ago had led to the couple conceiving a child. The little boy Zoe had given birth too was now eight years old and full of sass. When the Zoe and Alfie were on their honeymoon they had shot for another baby. This little girl was now seven and two-sevenths (as she liked to say) and was a little too sassy.

Zoe had just finished putting her two kids to bed and sat down on the couch with a long sigh. Being thirty-two and having two kids was tough work; though it could have been worse. She looked up to see her husband making hot chocolate in the kitchen. She got up off of the couch and hugged him from behind.

“Zoe, I’m making hot chocolate, you can’t interrupt the process.” Alfie sighed as he poured the chocolate drink into two festive mugs.

“Alfie, I want you to come sit with me.” Zoe pouted against his back. Alfie laughed and put whipped cream on both ho chocolates. He topped it off with chocolate pieces on top of the cream. He lifted the glasses slowly and hoped he didn’t spill.

“Little One, please let go so I can bring these over to the coffee table.” Alfie asked his wife politely.

“I don’t want to.” Alfie murmured stubbornly into Alfie’s shirt. She tightened her grip and forced him to waddle to the couch. When it was time to sit down she let go and Alfie sat down and dragged her down with him. She landed next to him and she cuddled against him.

She then got an idea. Ever since they were engaged they were like the Shaytards, they would do daily- or nearly daily- vlogs and they always vlogged everything. She got up and scampered down the hall hoping she didn’t wake her kids, when she returned she had her trusty vlogging camera. She turned it on and started talking.

“Hey guys, it’s New Years eve and Alfie and I just put the kids to sleep. We are now cuddling on the couch, well were about to. I wanted to include you guys on this experience.” She said into the camera. She reentered the living room and sat down next to Alfie again.

“Hey, guys.” Alfie waved at the camera once Zoe sat down. She cuddled back up into his chest and focused the camera onto the both of them.

“It’s almost New Years!” Zoe said excitedly into the camera.

“Only a minute left.” Alfie chimed in.

“We have our hot chocolate, and we have our TV on a movie.” Zoe said turning the camera around and showing the mugs and the TV. “And were just waiting for Alfie’s phone to start counting down.” Zoe grinned as she showed his phone saying there was only thirty seconds left.

“We are so happy to be spending this night with you guys, I think this is the first time we’ve done this.” Alfie spoke to the camera. His phone had started to countdown from twenty and the couple looked at each other in excitement.

“Ohhh!” Zoe squealed. The countdown reached ten and Zoe lifted her head up, Alfie put his down and they started to lean towards each other. When the countdown said one, they kissed.

“Um, mom, dad, what the heck are you doing?” Arthur, their son, asked. Zoe and Alfie separated from kiss and looked over to see their two kids looking at them with clear distaste.

“Um, kissing.” Zoe said sheepishly. The camera and somehow caught the two kids in the background of the kiss and was getting the whole conversation.

“That’s disgusting.” Ivy complained. Alfie rolled his eyes at his daughter.

“Just like your face.” He stuck his tongue out.

“Alfie, the girl is seven. You are twenty-nine.” Zoe reminded her husband.

“So.” Alfie grumbled.

“Mom, dad, if you want to do the whole sex thing, go in the bedroom.” Arthur put his hand up to stop his mom from speaking.

“Arthur!” Zoe exclaimed her face heating up. “How the hell do you know about sex?"

"School, mum, school.” Arthur supplied.

“But, you’re in Primary School!” Alfie exclaimed, clearly surprised.

“Just leave it alone, Arthur, they are a lost case.” Ivy shook her head in shame and grabbed the mugs off the table handing one to her brother they went back to their rooms.

“Why did we have such sassy children?” Zoe asked and shook her head in wonderment.
