For those of you who have never sen August Rush, The story depicts how music affects hum beings, one boy in particular who believes the music will reunite him with his parents. He sets out to New York and seeks refuge in a church..This is where the magic happens hats off to Jamia Simone Nash
Robin Thicke would like you to know that when it comes to a Whitney Houston biopic…………his wife should play her.
PERSONALLY, I for one believe there’s a reason why he’s a singer and not a casting director (Although some directors WOULD make the same BULLSHIT call….).
Boo Boo…..stick to making us songs that make us wanna run to the bedroom. It’s a miracle his wife is getting the roles she is now……she’s very basic.
I don’t know about ya’ll but NO ONE can tell me that she’s on the same level as Kimberly Elise or Thandie Newton….NO ONE!
Here’s an excerpt of an interview he did from The YBF about who should play Whitney:
Robin: “My wife [Paula Patton]! She reminds me of Whitney Houston. And when she was first starting, she was going out on auditions, they were like ‘ you know you remind me of that Halle Berry meets Whitney Houston.’ She got that a lot when she first started. So she’s been getting a lot of Twitter’s and Google’s about her playing Whitney Houston. But I think it’s way too soon. I think anybody that tries to do Whitney within the next year or two is a big mistake.”
MY OPINION for the Whitney Houston biopic (even though IT’S WAY TOO SOON) would be:
She KNOWS her voice and she has control. Jamia doesn’t OVER SING the damn song. She has ACTING under her belt. Remember when Apollo was hot back in the day? She was the little 5 year old who shut it DOWN!
WHO ELSE could be as intense as Ms. Elise?????? Let’s stop suggesting Angela Bassett….give her a rest and let someone else get some shine.
My list is AWESOME and whichever casting director reads my list better send me my check in the mail……..
Sidebar: DON’T YOU DARE SUGGEST Meagan Good, Halle Berry, Rihanna, Jordin Sparks, or Vivica Fox…..oh yeah, I don’t want to see Jennifer Hudson play her either. My list is the best. Check my video links if I’m wrong….I’m not though.
No father figure in the house And i’m wondering how I’m gonna work it out Oh My friends keep on telling me How i don’t need that man But they don’t really understand
There’s far Too many pressures in reality With dealing with the pain The stress and poverty And i gotta be myself because There’s nobody else for me (Noo)
(Hang in there with me) Sometimes it takes A different kind of love To raise a child (So don’t give up) So don’t give up (When pressures come down) Sometimes it takes A different kind of dream To make you smile (So raise it up) So raise (Hang in there with me) Sometimes we need Another helping hand To show the way (So don’t give up) So don’t give up (When pressures come down) Sometimes it seems impossible And that’s why we pray (So raise it up) We pray
Seems to be Nothing left for me Momma’s gone Daddy didn’t wanna be And now i’m all by myself Wondering where is love Or should i just give up (Ya kno)
Life falls down on me Cuts into my soul But i know i got the strength To make it through it all Cause i’m still standing tall Breaking through these walls I’m gonna give my all
Feeling like A motherless child Pain cuts into my soul It’s bringing me down Can’t find my smile On the face Of a motherless child I’m gonna break Down these walls Gonna give my all Ya know Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahhhhh

I’m attempting to bribe my friend with videos so he’ll keep sending me ones of his music. Obviously he has no choice in this. I’m just going to send them to him until he feels overwhelmed by obligation.
