Our afternoon was spent at Bill Richardson’s Transport World. So many beautiful cars, trucks, tractors and machines. It is big and there was so much to see we had to take a lunch break and have a rest. The food at the cafe was really delicious, I recommend the fudge cake. The retro kitchen and lounge were great too. A wonderful experience.
I decided that I should probably post a photo on the stationary that I am going to be using this year. I bought four individual notebooks (yellow for theatre, red for education, green for english and blue for french) as well as a 5 subject book but may use this next year. In the photo above is also a zip ringbinder I got at warehouse stationery for $5 (THE LAST ONE TOO!!) which is where i’m probably going to take notes during lectures, then copy the information nicely into my colour coordinated notebooks. As well as a ring-bound notebook for french vocab, and a 3b1 for god knows what.
Not in the picture are my other supplies such as my PaperMate InkJoy Gel pens, a pair of scissors, hole punch, stapler, white out correction fluid, a glue stick and a roll of tape. I’m probably forgetting a whole lot of important things. Which probably will be so expensive when the back to school sale ends.
With only 9 days until I leave for Otago, the count is on!
Today’s fabric shopping was from Kitz n Things in Dee Street Invercargill. The fabric selection there is fantastic. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The lovely lady that served me got chatting to Hubs about cars. I just kept browsing while they talked spray painting and shared pictures of their autobabies. Quilters if you ever find yourself in Invercargill NZ go there and meet the friendly team and choose some special fabric from the huge selection. You won’t be disappointed.
