The rust orange Boglioli

Another new arrival at Khaki’s of Carmel: a rust orange unstructured jacket in Boglioli’s signature “K Jacket” fit. With surgeon cuffs, a 3-roll-2 lapel and patch pockets, this jacket fits like a glove and is easy to wear casually with its unlined interior. We’ve paired it with Incotex cotton moleskin five-pockets, a cashmere button mockneck and chocolate brown pebble grain wingtip bluchers from Edward Green. To bring some pattern, we’ve gone with a patterned plaid shirt from Kent & Curwen. The whole look showcases a rich palette for fall in a trim look.

I have a tendency to choose high contrasting shirt and tie combinations, but I have set myself the challenge of trying to master combinations with lower contrast. Since one should steer well clear of dark dress shirts that means wearing lighter ties. I have a few that I have avoided wearing despite actually liking the look of them in isolation, and this is one. It is a peachy color in linen/silk by HSM picked up on clearance at Marshall’s.
