Isn’t it funny how women have been discriminated by men in disgusting ways throughout all human history but as soon as you hint that you might not have the absolutely highest respect for every male snowflake on earth you become a disgusting, biased oppressor
u have to be careful with guys. theyre so used to having their tastes catered to, and women are socialized to cater to their needs, that before you know it you get swallowed up in what they what to listen to, what they want to watch, what they want to read… It’s like you forget how to be a person and they just treat you like a sponge to absorb all their cool tastes while they haven’t even managed to read the one thing you’ve asked them to read over 5 times.
Toxic masculinity is aggravated by fragile masculinity
You see when we continue to sell products like these…
We feed into men’s entitled attitudes and deep rooted insecurities. It’s something that I have learnt and picked upon while doing research on articles that were written by heavily biased feminists. I actually found this in my kitchen today and I was appalled that my family feeds into toxic masculinity without any second thought. When we continue to use these products, we are taught that it’s okay for men to be violent, we are taught that men being extremely defensive of their masculinity is okay. It isn’t. These gender specific products are honestly disgusting and I plan on starting petitions against every single supermarket to stop selling these. I have to start somewhere on my mission to destroy the patriarchy. :)
When I say “I hate men” I mean “I’m scared they will fucking murder me for speaking my mind or saying no…or just bc I have a vagina” when I say “I need feminism” I don’t mean “I want all men to die in a hole” I mean “I’m just trying to survive because I’m scared of what men will do to me.. So I’m trying to make it a equal playing field”
I love existing in an unapologetic way. I love intensely staring back at men when they stare at me, I love standing my ground when I can tell a boy is about to bump into me because he thinks I will move out of the way for him. I love doing these things because men stretch their arms over my desk and roll their wrists next to my ears, they put their backpacks on a separate desk even when the classroom is full, they walk without paying attention the crowd (so the crowd parts around them), they take up two seats on the metro, they joke around with their friends while the rest of the lecture hall is quiet. They do these things every single day without feeling guilty.
