RIGHT HERE TONIGHT || RYAN & BECCA
Rebecca laughed softly as she glanced at the person across the table, her drink up to her lips and nearly finished. The bar was busy in a nice way and in the background she could hear the less than docile tones of someone attempting to sing. It wasn’t that they were bad but they were definitely trying a little too hard. She had to admire the effort though. She’d definitely never have the balls. “So…” She began, deeply engaged in a less than tipsy conversation with the male who’d approached her and brought her a drink earlier. “I’m a mechanic. I spend most of my time with my own company…” She began, trying not to freak them out too much with her boring as fuck life. In fact she was so determined not to embarrass herself with her self-image that she didn’t hear the person cease singing. And she didn’t hear the person approaching her either. She didn’t even know they were there until a hand clasped around her shoulder and gripped.
“And we have our next fabulous victim for tonight’s karaoke!” The voice chorused through a microphone and suddenly Rebecca felt her hands go clammy. Why the fuck did they even have karaoke here?! Since when?!
“No, no. You’ve definitely got the wrong…okay, no…” But she was already practically being tugged up and egged toward the stage. “I don’t…please don’t…” She couldn’t even get words out as a microphone was forced in to her hand. “Shit.”
