Description: You are a curator at one of the many museums in Paris, and have finally earned the bosses trust. But after a strange meeting with a new coworker and his friends, you begin receiving messages from an unknown party.
Jimin curved around the halls, a stride like no other taking over him as he headed for the bosses room. As his body curved through the lights glowing from the swinging light fixtures, his face showed with fury. His hands balled beside his hips, his footsteps coming off heavier with every lingering second.
He stopped before the door at the end of the hall. His hand hovered of the knob, trembling as thoughts raced through his head.
What am I doing?
I can’t risk my life for her.
Namjoon will kill me.
Jin will kill her.
What am I doing?
Jimin slowly turned the knob to Namjoon’s room, light flooding in. Namjoon sat behind a cluttered desk, strolled with paper and dirty dishes. He was crouched in front of a computer screen, mindlessly scrolling only to take one-minute breaks to write down bits of information.
“Namjoon,” Jimin beckoned. A sense of fear trailed behind his voice.
Namjoon turned his head to face Jimin, his dark circles showing he hadn’t gotten any sleep in days. “What do you want?”
Jimin staggered across the room, tripping over small things. He finally stood before Namjoon, swallowing the lump that had grown in his throat. “Please let me help her,” he begged.
Namjoon’s eyebrows furrowed. “You know what that means, right?”
Jimin closed his eyes, wincing at the pictures of what would become of him. Yet, hope lingered in his heart as he hoped that his friend would have sympathy for him. “Yes, sir.” He murmured, sniffling as the thoughts became overwhelming. Fear took over his whole body as Namjoon stood up, walking to the door.
“I’d hate to lose you Jimin,” Namjoon purred. His hands tightened around the knob as he closed it. He smiled as he turned back to face Jimin. “How about a wager?”
Communicate. That’s the biggest and best first thing you can ever do. Whether it be with a teacher, sibling, friend, parent or even a counselor. Being able to communicate is the first step to your life getting better. It doesn’t have to be even talking; it can be a letter or email or text…let people know what’s going on in your life, your thoughts and emotions.
People can and will help you, you just need to search them out. Oh and one last thing, never EVER let someone bring you down. You’re you, and you is always good enough. Never stray from who you are because you never know who will come along and want and love “you”.
