Till next time, guys! ❤
During this 5 years TMNT had become a really big part of my soul and life, so it’s really painful for me to realize that this amazing show is ended.
But despite this I’ll continue drawing TMNT fanarts, just like other great artists here, so it’s the only beginning! 🌸
the franchise that was the door that opened my little brain to everything related to comics and animation is because of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. i really think their new movie looks good. TURTLE POWER!!

Heroes in a Half-Shell, and ready to battle! Since literally everything is coming back in August through November, I think I’ll take a look at this show. Also since there’s ANOTHER reboot coming next year, I better hurry or else I’ll have figure out a whole new TMNT universe!

I’ve never seen this version of TMNT, but I just heard last week that in their most recent episodes, Master Splinter was killed off from the show and probably the franchise. How could they do that!? He was an important part of the series! That’s like killing off Optimus Prime (which they’re slowly doing)!
Anyway, I wanted to make a tribute post to Splinter. He was an iconic mentor, Master, and father, and he will be missed by every generation of Turtle fans.
TMNT traveled to San Diego for an epic Comic-Con filled with Turtle Power! Fans had the chance to hang out with the voice actors, sat in on panels with the creators, scoured the showroom floor for latest Turtles toys, and of course, ate some pizza (and ice cream – with the voice of Mikey!). If you didn’t catch all the action on our live Instagram story (follow us!), check out some exclusive pics of the adventure with the Heroes in a Half Shell!
Day 1 – Thursday
Loads of fans showed up dressed in Turtles cosplay ready for the day – they looked totally rad! Thursday also featured the reveal of the Nickelodeon Comic-Con booth, featuring a custom t-shirt maker with TMNT possibilities, a massive pineapple, and Comic-Con exclusive toys.
Day 2 –Friday
The day kicked off with a Mikey’s Morning Meditation, led by Greg Cipes, the voice of Michelangelo. TMNT creator Kevin Eastman, executive producer Ciro Nieli and a few very cool fans were lucky enough to take part in meditating to the calming, soothing sound of “BOOYAKASHA” before jumping into the rest of the day. Nickelodeon’s TMNT panel followed with an awesome group of dudes - Greg Cipes (Mikey), Rob Paulsen (Donatello), Eric Bauza (Tiger Claw), Kevin Eastman (TMNT co-creator), Stan Sakai (Usagi creator), Yuki Matsuzaki (voice of Usagi), and Ciro Nieli (TMNT executive producer). The audience was treated to a screening of the never-before-seen clip from the Samurai Turtles and an exclusive peek at the entire “Lone Rat & Cubs” episode. Following the panel, the team signed autographs for fans at the Nickelodeon booth. To cap off an already crazy day, a secret pizza party was offered to fans following the TMNT Instagram story. Free pizza for everyone that came - cowabunga!
Day 3 –Saturday
Fans flocked to see the super cool Kevin Eastman and Stan Sakai speak on the comic-themed panel, Summer of Turtles hosted by @idwcomics. The gang talked upcoming issues and offered awesome insights to their creative process. Then, starving from a few long days of totally tubular but exhausting Comic-Con events, the voice of Mikey stuck again! Greg Cipes invited fans to free ice cream sandwiches in the park with him, in honor of the upcoming Wanted: Bebop & Rocksteady DVD with an exclusive Ice Cream Kitty music video.
Day 4 –Sunday
Wrapping up the event, Sunday brought a giveaway for the exclusive Comic-Con Usagi figure by Playmates. Fans who followed the Instagram story had the chance to win the hot TMNT toy - an action figure of Usagi (who’s about to show off his superstar Samuari skills in the Samurai Turtles episodes!). A few lucky fans won the giveaway and walked away happier than Mikey with pizza!
