“Feel Better” Charmed Soup ✨🍲✨

My husband has been suffering from a bad cold the past couple days, so I decided to whip up a little kitchen magic to help him out. After just one bowl, he was already commenting on how much better he felt!
(All my measurements are approximate; it’s really just whatever tastes good to you.)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups bone broth (homemade is best, but store-bought is fine too)
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 9 cloves of garlic (protection, vitality) ((I chose 9 because it’s a good number, but use however much you want))
  • Black pepper (protection)
  • Sea salt (protection, purifying)
  • 4-5 fresh sage leaves (healing, purifying)
  • 2 bay leaves (protection)
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (protection, healing, vitality)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder (healing)
  • 1-2 tsp chili flakes (protection, healing, vitality)
  • A healthy squeeze of lemon juice (healing, vitality, happiness)
  • A splash of apple cider vinegar (because that shit is magic all on its own. But don’t overdo it; a little goes a long way!)

In a medium stockpot, drizzle a tablespoon or so of olive oil, heat on medium. Chop up the onion and dump it in, add sage leaves, salt, and pepper, and cook until slightly browned, stirring frequently.

Add bone broth and chicken stock, then stir clockwise while focusing some healing energy into the pot. Mince up your garlic and add it to the broth.

Once the broth is simmering, add your rice, then the rest of your spices, lemon juice, and cider vinegar. I also poked healing sigils into the bay leaves with a sewing needle, like so.

Cover and continue to simmer until rice is thoroughly cooked. Before serving, do another clockwise stir and a final dose of healing energy, and there you go!

✨🍲✨

A healing spell, done for a sick witchy friend of mine.

White candles: healing
Bay leaves: healing
Amethyst: the taglock
Sigil: “Be Healed”

I also used a triple-circle of manifestation to help send it to them.

In fact, their familiar Akito astral-travelled into the circle to fetch the spell for my friend 🐱 So proud of the little fella :)

Candle Healing Spell

Here is a small candle spell to help with healing yourself when you have a sickness or are healing from an injury.

What you’ll need:

  • Band-Aid
  • Black candle (For banishing your sickness/pain)
  • Red candle (To represent you as strong to help you get through it)
  • Green candle (For healing)
  • Dried Allspice, Bay, Lemon Grass, OR Carnation (Aids with healing)

Light the black candle, and use that candle to light the green one. This is representing the black candle banishing whatever is causing your bad health or pain. Then light the red candle that represents you with the green candle to give you the good health you want. Place all 3 candles in front of you in a triangular pattern. Take your herb you chose, and burn it with the black candle. Rub the cloth part of the band-aid with the soot, and put the band-aid near the bottom of the red candle. This is the candle representing you, so the ash band-aided on you will help you heal, while giving you strength from the color red. Blow out all 3 candles, and leave the red candle somewhere you can light it once a day at least. Continue until you’re better.

Ease My Depression Spell Bottle

I’m going to make my first spell bottle tonight. It’s scribbled into my book of shadows, but I figured I’d share it. Please note that I do this in addition to taking an anti-depressant and a mood stabilizer. Always seek professional help if you need it.

That being said, let’s get to the magic!

Note: This is probably best done during the waning moon. I’m making an exception since it’s Mabon.

Ingredients:
Sea salt (purification/cleansing/grounding)
Rosemary (healing)
Sandalwood (healing)
Bay Leaf (protection)
Rose (peace)
Cinnamon (purification)
Sunflower petals (sunlight/happiness)
Obsidian (grounding)
Amethyst (Happiness)
Fluorite (Ease depression)

You can probably leave a few of these out. Most important is fluorite for the depression-easing properties.

Steps
Anoint a blue or white candle with an oil charged/made for the intent of peace, healing, vitality, or similar.

Light the candle.

Assemble the bottle in the order listed (herbs first, stones second), focusing on the properties of each as you do. Pour your energy and intent into each ingredient as you add it. If you want to say words, do so. Otherwise, work purely with visualization.

Once it’s assembled, hold the bottle to the sky and charge the whole thing with your intent. Seal the bottle with wax, preferably blue or white. Leave near the candle and allow the candle to burn down.

so ive kept bay leaves under my pillow for a while now, and it seems more of a dream enhancer than enhancing “prophetic dreams” (although i had one where i failed my math test at summer school, and i did last week)

but a few days ago i put a rose quartz in addition to the bay leaves and i’ve been having such romantic dreams and lovey dovey dreams and they’re really pleasant and beautiful

i recommend 11/10 if you want pretty dreams

Since I tried to type up properties & correspondences for all my herbs last night only to have Tumblr force close on me, I wised up & did it in my notes 1st then copied & pasted it here.
So, here is the 1st set of herbs I will share info on. Mind you, there are many different uses for the herbs I will be listing but these are the basics:

**Just a reminder, any herbs that can be ingested need to be tested to make sure you aren’t allergic or have an contraindications for meds you are on & please be aware of dosing, you can look them up online & don’t ever take anything internally that is not listed as safe to ingest. Common sense will save your life.**

Okay but seriously what happened after the castle was taken back in episode four? Keith talked about how they had a ‘bonding moment’ and that he 'cradled Lance in his arms’. But how did that happen?

The bonding moment probably could have been how they held hands as Lance was beginning to stand up and they shared a smile and Lance murmured “We did it…We are a good team.” But where does the cradling part come?

I like to imagine that they got Lance to stand up and they began walking to the healing bay, Lance leaning heavily on Keith as they do so and Pidge is holding up Shiro at the same time. When they’re close to the healing bay, Lance’s energy probably gave out again, considering he actually came out of a coma to shoot that gun, and Keith is right there to grab him. And what then commences is a couple of minutes of cradling Lance in his arms, telling him it’s going to be okay before Coran and Hunk show up with the crystal and they’re able to get Lance into one of the pods.
