Request: Anon: “could you do a James Potter one shot. Where the reader and he are childhood friends, until he meets the marauders and forgets about them. Then in sixth year he starts noticing them again, and gets over Lily because of them, but they don’t care much anymore, until seventh year”
Im not sure if anyone else has thought of this, but its been on my mind for a while.
**** SPOILERS AHEAD ****
So, after the reasons were subpoenaed, their interrogations were filmed. At the bottom of the screen it was stated that it was November 2017 and it had been previously mentioned that Hannah had passed away 2 months prior.
This means she died sometime in September of 2017.
Jessica’s party was on the second Saturday of September, which means Hannah probably killed herself about a week later.
It is currently April, so for her, its not even the end of Sophomore year.
This made me do some deep thinking…
Jessica’s party hasn’t happened in our time, Jeff hasn’t died, Jessica (and Hannah) has not been raped, etc.
Most importantly, at least in our time line, Hannah has not killed herself yet.
That means that (if it were real) things could change. Decisions could be changed. Justin could have fought Bryce for Jessica. Bryce might not have raped her at all. Sherri might not have run over the stop sign, or if she did still, she could have called the cops. Jeff wouldn’t have died. Clay wouldn’t have left Hannah alone that night. Hannah might have decided not to go to Jessica’s party altogether. She might also have not went to Bryce’s party. Mr Porter could have helped Hannah when she needed it.
So many things could have gone different, and in our time line, these things haven’t happened yet (if the show were real)
It just opened my mind to the fact that, at least in our time line, Hannah Baker is still alive.
