Go-to-Jungle

I’m crying tears of joy because I finally found someone to duo with who doesn’t rage or troll at all and together we crawled our way up to gold. How you ask?

By spamming Soraka-Kog’Maw botlane. Out of my last twenty matches 19 is Soraka (and one Sona because someone stole goat mom from me) and all of them wins.

- somewhere only we know , by @bethaboolou Personal assistant Louis knows something is up with his best friend and employer Harry. And it’s not just his big tour coming up or the ever-increasing womanizing rumors about the popstar. To get to the bottom of Harry’s moodiness, Louis decides he has to kidnap him and take him on a roadtrip up the California coast to Portland. The roadtrippiest road trip fic ever written. Basically an excuse for gratuitous fluff and smut with a pinch of angst tossed in for good measure. (44k)

- bluebird , by  brightbrowneyes : The 2,789 miles between New York and Los Angeles is a long way to go alone. (39k)

- through the jungle through the dark , by YesIsAWorld : Louis and Harry were best friends, until they weren’t. Five years after they last spoke they’re forced to drive cross-country to visit an injured friend. If they can’t get over the past, it will be a very long week together. (12k)

- These Roads We Stumble Down, by onewasturning  : He’s completely drenched, not one millimetre of him not covered in rain, and the old sheepskin cover over the seat is probably going to stink afterwards from the damp. But even with what seems to be a constant tremor shaking his body, brown hair plastered to his forehead, and a blue tinge to his skin, he’s still probably the most gorgeous person that Harry has ever seen. Or, Harry picks up a hitchhiker in Oxford, and it’s a long ride to Glasgow. (18k)

- you’re the summer in my mind , by orphan_account : Harry supposes it had started with Louis, really. Because even if nobody wants to say it out loud, everything starts with Louis.(or, alternatively: harry and louis take a road trip after the take me home tour ends.) (15k)

- You Came Running With My Heart , by Acavall : The world ends on a Saturday, which throws a bit of a wrench into Louis’ weekend plans. Now civilization appears to be destroyed, his roommate has run off into the countryside on a romantic quest, and Louis’ only hope of surviving is an ASDA employee with a pair of swords and too much time on his hands. At least the apocalypse is over and done with – anything else that goes wrong is really just a footnote. (A post-apocalyptic roadtrip au.) (55k)

- take the back roads , by @hilourry : The one where Harry and Louis are roommates who are pining over each other and all they need is a road trip down the West Coast to bring them together. (31k)

-The Sound of Your Voice From Far Away by pukeandcry : It’d be perfect, he convinces himself. Things with Lou are – well. They’re the way they are, and there’s no point dwelling on why it’s got that way. But he thinks this would help – not fix them, because they’re not broken. They don’t need to be put back together, they’re just. Out of sync, maybe. It would help. He thinks it would, anyway, if they could just be the two of them again, to be alone together with no outside influences pressing claustrophobically in on them, just for a bit. And driving down an empty highway with nothing else but Louis beside him is the best way to do that that he can imagine.Or, after the U.S. leg of the Take Me Home tour, Harry and Louis drive from L.A. to NYC. They figure some things out, like how to deal with the distance that’s been growing between them. (39k)

- and mercury on your heels, by flimsy: “Lou.” Louis turns his head and looks up at Harry, brow tilted. Harry slumps down on the bed, his cheek squished a little as he props himself up on his elbow, lying on his side; he reaches one arm out to make a grabby hand at him. “C’mere,” he says. Louis bats at his hand, but somehow his fingers tangle with Harry’s, pinkies hooking, and Harry rubs his thumb over Louis’ wrist as if he’s looking for his heartbeat beneath his skin. (9k)

Such a satisfying feeling.

Okay so I’m not sure if this applies to a game I just had tonight, but it’s a worthwhile story to tell regardless.  So I get into a game of ranked and I’m going Draven ADC.  I notice on the enemy team, they chose a Twitch and their last pick was hovering over Jinx, but then switches to Yi.  After we get into game, we find out Twitch was originally going to go jungle, but their last pick believes Twitch jg isn’t a thing and ended up taking jung for him, forcing Twitch into ADC.

Twitch even told us that he doesn’t know how to properly play ADC.

So right there I’m feeling bad for the poor guy. That, and yeah, Twitch jungle actually does work.  I’ve done it before.  So me and the rest of my team proceed to lay some serious shit into this Yi, and even his team is just giving him the business.  Yi’s telling us he doesn’t believe that it works and starts calling us all manner of shit, most of which I’m not gonna repeat here but at the end of the game I end up reporting him.

Look even if you don’t agree with someone’s choice, just don’t be a fucking dick.  Like, seriously, even if everyone in the game, even everyone on your fucking team, is siding with the dude who is doing the thing, just don’t be a dick.  There’s nine people waiting to report you at the end of the game.

The gamer sits comfortably across from the
handsome jungle king, smiling as she eats a
bit of fruit with him. She had been gone as she
needed to go back to the city but she wanted to
visit him again. There;s something about him
that attracts her.

“How’s everything going

Nathanny: “You’ve got to be kidding me!? I’m not going to pay this amount of money for some rotten fruits! That’s insane!”

Ulrike: “So you can say goodbye to those apples and don’t fucking piss me, jerk

Nathanny: “Mind your words, Ulrike, or I’ll show you where is your place.”

Ulrike: “Haha, you’ll show me my place? That’s a good joke! Remember that I am Nilfl’amian and I have more rights here. Go to your jungle, girl.”

Nathanny: “You should respect other races or you’ll regret it someday.”

Ulrike: “Haha, because what? Sixamians will stop being our slaves?”

Nathanny: “We’re not slaves! Don’t you remember who helped you while war?!”

Ulrike: “Oh, please! That was a long time ago! It doesn’t matter now!”

Order #33

I see a high cliff that juts outwards from a wild rainforest, lush leaves lazily lofting in the canopy.  The air is moist and warm, balmy even but it has yet to reach that fevered pitch that comes in the late day.  For now it is early morning where the sun has woken from it’s slumber and spills it’s light across the treetops and past the horizon.

The rainforest is as old as it is wise and powerful.  And it holds many, many stories and legends.  They have been told for so long and so often, no one can really say if any of them are true and yet they continue to tell their tales without ever knowing the story.  There has to be some explanation behind it’s existence, right?  But the people forget that a forest needs no explanation, no grand answer for why it is there.  Because the fact is…it IS there and it will never go away.

The jungle will treat them beautifully if they enter with respect but will tear them to shreds if they come in without it.  So much mystery is hidden deep, so deep that the forest itself has long forgotten or never discovered it’s own wonders.  This high cliff, a narrow point that juts out to overlook the valley of trees is one such place.  It seems so thin and weak but it holds so much strength and is only wide enough for one person to walk out to the point.

If you were to come to this peak before sunrise and wait, the first ray of sunshine that pools over the horizon will heal your emotional pains and wounds and then burst forward, like a beacon to show you where you need to go next.  But you must have patience and you must have the proper timing for this wonder to happen or you will never see nothing more than your average sunrise.

There has not been a person yet who has been patient enough to wait.  But one day…there will be.

masterjuridical  asked:

Going with your Destiny + Jungle Book tag, assuming the JB characters became Guardians, what classes/subclasses do you think they'd go in?

@masterjuridical ooohhhhh…. I LIKE this….

Mowgli: Warlock, Sunsinger. Warlock for his tricks, Sunsinger for his unique relationship with fire in contrast to the others, in all adaptations.

Bagheera: Hunter, Nightstalker. He’s a panther… I can’t really choose anything else. (I can’t believe for my favorite character, I have the least explanation…)

Baloo: Titan, Defender. Like Bagheera, this really feels unavoidable. I did want to go with Sunbreaker for a story I read as a kid in which a bear saves the sun from a crocodile who swallowed it, except that’s neither Kipling nor Disney. With Kipling in mind, however, I seriously considered giving him a Warlock class, him being a teacher of the Law of the Jungle himself. But the more I thought about it, the more I felt that the Titan class still fit as the Law focuses on the past affecting the present - defending what is there.

Kaa: Warlock, Voidwalker. His hypnosis aside, Kaa fits the Warlock aspect for being a student/teacher of the Jungle, like Baloo, but without his teaching focusing on the law (not Law) or the Jungle. As in he knows the paths and secrets of the Jungle that don’t necessarily follow the Law. Voidwalker because that’s the “creepiest” option.

Akela: Hunter, Gunslinger, because that was the class/sub class most highlighted by the trailer that had his voice actor reciting the Law of the Jungle.

Raksha: Titan, Defender. A Titan defends the walls of the city. Raksha defends the “walls” of her home (pack). Every action she takes or threatens is to defend another.

Shere Khan: Titan, Striker. Titan class because of the story “How Fear Came” in which the tiger (of myth, not necessarily Khan himself) was originally called to be a protector and judge for the Jungle. Striker subclass because he’s aggressive and doesn’t like fire.

King Louie: A Titan Striker who wishes he was a Warlock or at least a Sunbreaker.

Grey Brother: Hunter. Not really enough about him to chose which subclass he would be.
