Inktober 2016 - Day 16 - The Ghost of Governor Tarkin
If you happen to travel through the space where Alderaan once was, you will sometime hear stories of a spectral shape marching through the corridors of visiting starships. Everyone describes the same experience: the gaunt figure of a bone-thin and brooding imperial officer, who will stare at you until you either faint or retreat on shaking legs.
If the ghost of Tarkin for reasons of his own decides to tolerate someone’s presence, he will however offer sage advice. Those who have heard his words swear that it later helped them in dire situations of survival.
(I added some glow-in-the-dark nail varnish and it’s hard to capture when I can’t get my room wholly dark, but it looks super neat as an effect. His outline and eyes now glisten!)
We love Avatar the Last Airbender. Here are a few pieces we have done based on the series. The first one, on the original piece, we added glow-in-the-dark paint to the rocks to make them glow-in-the-dark.
