Among my myriad of obsessions are watches. Whenever someone asks me why, I always have to go back to going to church on a Sunday and seeing the guys in their Sunday Best. It was always the nicest suit, nicest ties, and a watch or ring to really set it off.
But that is neither here or there. I wanted to write this post, because I decided to take the leap and get a new watch from a brand that was newer to the market. The brand is Giorgio Fedon and from my research it looks to have only been around since 2013. The brand actually is more known as a popular Italian leather goods maker.
Because of this there just is not much in the way of information on the brand and whether it is worthwhile. Well I just got the watch and it is really nice. I have a pretty wide variety of watches, but I have to admit this one stands out.
First off while the watch band is orange it is actually leather and not plastic, which I love. It also passed the sniff test, where you sniff it to make sure it smells like leather and it did.
I also really like the solidness of the actual case on the watch. Although it looked like it would be heavy, it is actually really light and has a great shine to it. It does not feel at all feel like I am wearing some garish piece on my arm.
Another great touch on the watch is that it shows the minutes versus the hours. This is definitely pretty different than most brands and I am sure it will result in several compliments and a conversation starter.
All in all, I think you receive a fairly stylish timepiece for the price and I would purchase again.
