Don’t forget to visit nyphil.org/leipzig today at 2:00 p.m. EDT for a live concert by Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic from Leipzig’s Gewandhaus as part of the International Mahler Festival 2011. The performance — the tenth concert on the Orchestra’s EUROPE / SPRING 2011 tour — features Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder, with baritone Thomas Hampson, and the Symphony No. 5.
