Freedom-To-Marry

The Republican Party sickens me. This is going to turn into a so what unorganized rant but here it goes. I am not surprised that such a backwards thinking group has gained so much momentum in this nation, but Jesus Christ, they will end us all. A lot of what they stand for is very un-American (when I think of American values, I like to support the ones that guarantee everyone personal freedoms whether it be to marry who you love, choose to have an abortion, live your life under basic tenets and without far-removed psychos trying to take away your rights, etc. ANYWAYS), yet they applaud themselves on how they uphold true values. This entity is against anything that will allow anyone who is not white, a male, Protestant, higher income, and so on, to live their lives fully. As a black person and a woman with progressive beliefs, I know my interests will not be represented under a trump presidency, and that in itself is terrifying.
Also, anything that reflects science or intellectual stimulation is seen as an abomination, which is really scary. I hate that children are not taught enough, if anything, about the environment, or how the earth really formed, or evolution, and science in general because knowledge is like a sin to them. Abortion is considered murder yet abortion terminates a blastocyst which is not yet a child and on another note, a being is not considered a life if it depends on another for life. Science is proven true based in evidence that has been credulity collected and analyzed, and yet it is widely ignored in favor of something could parable to mythology.
I hate that this country is so backwards and the people in office, who are supposed to hold our interests, are among the worlds most ignorant. There is no logically thinking in this party whatsoever, it’s all fear-driven nonsense that receives too much attention. I could go on, but I’m tired and I’ve made my point.

With the US Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage, let's not forget those that came before it
