I didn’t go out like this because the temperatures would never let me, but I got tired of casual summer clothes, so I dressed up for fun. Notice the difference between my “model” face from the previous pictures and my face when I see my precious Madame Bissonnette.

Before tsuyu (rain season) started, we had some very sunny and hot days. I decided to wear sunny colours to complement my new Rose of Versailles t-shirt. I really love old-school shoujo manga style. I read La Rose de Versailles manga in French back in high school, and partially watched the anime version in Japanese in university. I really want to see the Takarazuka, too! 薔薇は美しく散る is one of my classic karaoke song, too! I prefer Oscar to Marie Antoinette, but I felt this t-shirt would be easier to wear with skirts.

I found this cute light grey maxi dress in a local thrift store, and paired it with a bonnet I haven’t worn in a million years to create a fun summer-appropriate historical inspired outfit.

Who said I was done with mustard? Now with navy! I am so bad at tying bows, even if I have been in this fashion for so many years. But oh well, I like the shabby feel it gives to this outfit.

It’s raining every day, but I still wanted to put together a cute outfit that would fit under an umbrella. This year, November is cooler than last year (probably because of all the rain), so I took out my velvet skirt.

For my birthday, my sister brought me to a 1940’s historical circus burlesque theatre mashup show called Vice & Vertu by Les 7 doigts de la main. It was a surprise, and she only told me the day before to wear a 1940’s inspired outfit and comfy shoes without telling me where we were going. I currently have a very limited wardrobe, as I am visiting my family in Montreal, so I tried my best to create an outfit with what I have.
